Another rottmnt + turtlesonas au!! I've been chompin' at the bit to show off this one bc it's so fun!! It's a maximum ride au based roughly off the books bc even tho they were ass i have a lot of nostalgia for them! I wanted them to have wings and shells so i gave them beetle dna!(Plus a bit of dragonfly for maneuvering).
From left to right: raph(14), donnie(13), leo(13), fran(12 1/2), mikey(12), & tito (11 or 9, haven't decided yet)! Their names may be different in this one tho bc they named themselves like in the book, i haven't decided on names for any of them tho. For now i have pre-angel/tito-kidnapping trauma hair, heights, & basic color palettes! Also i haven't decided to make them the same height as their turtle counterparts, or shorter(with ride!rise raph being the canon disaster twins' height) bc hehe beetles small
ROTHENA STEALS THE DIRECTORS' FIMLMAKING EQUIPMENT & GETS A CAMERA LATER & TAKES PICS OF THE MERCS UNTIL SHE TRUSTS THEM ENOUGH TO REVEAL HER PHONE (AND, LATER, THE ADD-ONS PERIDOT MADE TO IT TO GIVE IT MORE STORAGE/MEMORY)
thin it'd be funny if under pyro's suit it looks the same but more detailed & can emote, like if he was like that insurance mascot guy but with a full body suit
does anyone have that maximum ride post where someone talked about initially reading the books they thought the flock had bird feet/talons bc of the scenes where they were high up in trees or did i like imagine that

Rothena in the amazing digital circus!! Morningstarships let me borrow his png of da bois(tm) to sketch a concept for her! Atlas & Tito are pomni's height & shorter in tadc, so rothena is only a lil taller than kinger. Haven't fully decided on an outfit for her yet, but have decided on her 'species'/avatar!
