Jungwoo’s smile softened, somersaults stirring his belly to life. God, he loved this man with every fibre of his being. If a higher power existed, they had created Lucas solely for him, of that much he was sure. There could never be a more perfect match. They slotted together like two sides of a puzzle. Everything in the world made more sense with his husband around. “You’re so cute,” he smiled into every kiss, his nose scrunching. The happiness they shared was nonexistent before Lucas. Catching sight of the yawn parting his husband's lips, Jungwoo chuckled as his own followed. He found absolutely everything about the man so endearing, even when he was teasing. “You belong on that stage. I’ve always told you that. The fans love you a lot, baby.” Stealing another chaste kiss, a hand rose, the tip of his index finger leaving a playful poke on the younger male's nose. “But no one loves you more than me. I got into that position years ago when you were,” speech halting suddenly, Jungwoo’s brow furrowed, contemplating his remark. “Well, I was gonna say when you were a scrawny teenager, but you were never that. You had muscles at fourteen!” Laughter followed as he shook his head. “How is that even possible?!” Taking another kiss, his lips lingering on Lucas’, Jungwoo snorted a laugh. “My little gym rat.” He lived for some time in the gym with the man he loved—mostly to ogle him for hours while he worked up a sweat! But his health benefited as well, so it was a win-win. “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be,” he reassured, his fingers sliding through the locks by Lucas’ eyes. Jungwoo gazed into those doe eyes every single day and found himself lost each time. His husband was the prettiest man he’d laid eyes on. So striking. His heart skipped a beat with Lucas’ words, and Jungwoo sought his husband’s gaze, nodding slowly. They’d be good parents. He could sense it. And he’d learn a lot from Lucas along the way. His husband always had a way with kids. “I can’t wait for this journey to begin for us. Five years into our relationship, we’re finally ready. Back in 2019, I couldn’t envision any of this being a reality. Yet, here we are.” It was surreal. And Jungwoo was ready for it. He’d married the man of his dreams and was excited to start a family with him. It felt like all the little pieces of life were falling into place for them. He felt blessed. Every last dream was slowly coming true since his relationship with Lucas grew romantic—if he didn’t know any better, Jungwoo would think everything had been a dream. “You’re sleepy,” he practically sang, his own eyes growing heavier, surrounded by the warmth of the man he loved, his steady heartbeat all but lulling him to sleep. His cheek resettled on Lucas’ chest, and Jungwoo’s heavy lids slid shut. Still, he fought it, rubbing at an eye and breathing a sigh. “Wanna watch the sunrise with you.” @yxkhei

The warmth that radiated from his husband’s body truly made Lucas feel like he was where he was always meant to be — right here in Jungwoo’s arms without a single care in the world plaguing his mind. The man had always had that affect on him though. Any worry that clouded Lucas’ mind was soon forgotten about with the other male around him, even before they had officially gotten together all those years ago. “Says you,” the singer whispered as he mimicked the man’s expression and scrunching his own nose up. Lucas listened intently to what his husband was saying before barking out a fit of laughter at the man’s words! “Baby, you’re ridiculous! I was a scrawny teenager at some point, trust me on that. You just met me after I bulked up a bit,” his lips pressed a kiss to the man’s nose, smiling as he did so. The smile on his face seemed pretty damn permanent and it was all because of Jungwoo and everything he did for him. “You’re one to talk about being a gym rat. You’ve been working out more than I have lately — your little trainer boyfriend likes to flaunt it all over Instagram,” he was clearly teasing him, because Lucas was actually friends with Jungwoo’s trainer! They all worked out together from time to time too, but it was just fun to mess around with the man.  If he could stay like this forever with his husband, he surely world — work be damned! But he was just..at real peace, laying in bed like this with the man he loved more than anything else on the planet. Besides, he was able to spend hours on end simply admiring the man’s beauty. Jungwoo was genuinely one of the most stunning man he’d ever laid his eyes on and he’d thought that since the very first moment he ever saw him. “I know,” he breathed out, pressing a kiss to the top of Jungwoo’s head. “It all feels so surreal that’s it’s happening at all, the appointments, the meetings..every single bit of it, but I’m so damn happy that we’re here and we’re finally starting our family.” Lucas didn’t know if any of it would ever feel real, but he was too happy to care. There was a deep sigh that escaped him as he nodded his head. “You really tired me out, Mr. Wong,” a soft chuckle rented the air between them. “But I’ll be okay while we watch the sunrise, promise.” @jvngwcos

Jungwoo hummed into each kiss, basking in Lucas’ love and attention. His heart sang around his husband, everything right with his world. God, if he could bottle the feeling and sell it, he’d be a billionaire in no time. The thought coaxed a smile to mirror Lucas’ own, and Jungwoo’s fingers danced against the man’s cheek, gazing down at his handsome face. Lucas Wong was the most striking person he’d ever seen. Not another soul could compare. And to think, he was all Jungwoo’s. “I’ll say it for the rest of your life,” he responded with a fondness lacing his voice reserved for his husband. Gaze gentling, Jungwoo bumped the tips of their noses after another lingering kiss, his lips tingling from each one. “You’ve been going nonstop without a single complaint. I know how happy this is making you. Being back, seeing the fans. And I couldn’t be happier for you, baby. You deserve this much love and success. Hell, more. You deserve it all.” To Jungwoo, Lucas should have the world if he so wanted it. The man deserved everything his heart desired. He was the softest, sweetest and most loving man on the planet, and Jungwoo was the luckiest. His gaze flicked to Lucas’ lips, moving against the back of his hand, and Jungwoo surged forward, taking a few of those kisses for himself. He hummed contentedly against his husband’s soft, full lips. “You never have to thank me for anything. I want to be right here with you, supporting you. Seeing you so happy makes me happy.” With another lingering kiss, he pulled away, settling his cheek on his husband’s chest and reaching to brush the hair from the man’s face. Perspiration laced every strand as he slicked dark locks from Lucas’ big doe eyes. He could hear the thump of his husband’s heart beneath his head and knew the steady rhythm could easily lull him to sleep if he let it—it had in the past, countless times. Jungwoo was determined to stay awake, though, his focus on the man beneath him.  “You’re the most beautiful person on the planet. And I can’t wait to see you in daddy mode, babe.” Breathing a chuckle, his shoulders rose and fell slowly. “I can’t believe it’s all coming together for us too. It feels like we’ve been waiting forever.” @yxkhei

There were absolutely no words to describe the happiness his husband brought him on a daily basis. He'd been trying to properly describe it since the two met and Lucas always seemed to come up short, but Jungwoo knew how happy he was regardless. Lucas always let him know! Especially as of late with all the support he'd been giving him with work finally starting back up. Truthfully, Lucas had no idea what'd he'd do without Jungwoo by his side through thick and thin. Thankfully though, he would never have to imagine that kind of life because the two of them were happily married and going to be together for the rest of their lives. "I look forward to hearing it all the damn time then, handsome," another round of kisses were pressed to the man's lips as the younger male let a sigh escape his lips. He was truly content right now and it was all because of Jungwoo. Hell, the confidence and serenity that Lucas felt was all because of the man laying on his chest. Jungwoo made him feel more alive..more sure of himself and less in his head and he'd forever be grateful especially for the peace he seemed to bring into his life as well. "You're right," Lucas mumbled as he let a yawn escape him — tiredness was officially starting to creep in, but he was going to ignore it because he wanted to stay up with his husband and talk about anything and everything until the sun rose in the sky. The two of them did it often. "I'm happy to be back on stage, back with the fans who never gave up on me and just..happy to be doing what truly makes me happy." And he was! "Well, besides you of course," a snicker escaped the male as he shot his husband a wink knowing exactly that Jungwoo would know what he meant. "But honestly, I'm just..happy as fuck that you've gotten to be with me every single step of the way. That's all that mattered to me. I couldn't do any of it without you." The younger man breathed out as he enjoyed the soft blanket of silence that now lay over both of them. All he wanted deep down, was to stay like this with the man he loved more than life itself and just forget about work and the busy lives they shared. But he knew an alarm would drag them out of bed sooner than later. "You're one to talk, Woo. You take my breath away every damn day. I'm constantly wondering what on Earth I did to land a man as stunning as you," the words were barely above a whisper as he spoke. "And you're going to be the best daddy on the planet. You were made for it, Wong Jungwoo." Lucas' fingers started tracing random patterns against the man's back as they lay there. "I still can't believe it's finally happening." @jvngwcos
