playlists

so i thought i might as well share some of my slam dunk-related playlists here~

  • shohoku practice - just a compilation of upbeat + fast-paced songs that i listened to while reading the slam dunk manga.^^ i also play it whenever i need something to hype me up/preparing to go out lol
  • megane-kun - basically an extra cheesy playlist i have for kogure that could also pass for a wedding playlist? i have shared this on a fic notes post too (and thank you @ritzy-reminiscence for bringing it up again ^^)
  • denouement - a hisashi mitsui playlist inspired by that moment when he realizes he wants to play basketball again.
  • rukawa's rotation - just me assuming that these are the tunes that kaede rukawa would listen to lol
  • nothing in between me and the rain - a playlist for the latest fics i shared (part 1/part 2)^^ songs of heartache and possibly another chance in love (?)

if ever you listen to them, i'd like to hear which songs you like. if you also have suggestions, that would be great, too.

if you also have slam dunk-related playlists, please let me know as well !! i'd like to check them out.

ooh boy i forgot to include one more playlist!

  • day off with sendoh - imagine spending the weekend with him, like a good sunny day for fishing or just chilling by the sea. i can consider it like a summer or a quick holiday playlist, away from the city and just relaxing on a weekend.

  • So let's remember when Sakuragi saved Anzai sensei's life. To save him, he had to go through all his memories about his father's death. Sakuragi revived his guilt, but tried his best to hide it.
  • But you knew there was something wrong.
  • You knew Sakuragi wouldn't talk in front of other people, specially his teammates, so you invite him to study at your house that afternoon.
  • You immediatly saw how distracted he was, strangely quiet.
  • You sit next to him and put your hands on his. "Hanamichi-kun, what's wrong? You're so quiet since Anzai-sensei went to the hospital".
  • Sakuragi would never think someone would notice and confront him about it. You felt his body shake.
  • "I-it's nothing"
  • You used your two hands to hold his now. "Hanamichi, please. I'm your girlfriend. You can tell me anything".
  • Now he is trembling for real. You saw his eyes full of tears. So you stand up and take him to the couch. "Come here." you tap your lap. "Lay down".
  • He quietly obeyed you. When you put your hands in his hair, the tears start rolling down his face to your lap.
  • "Yes, you can cry. It's okay. You have to put it out."
  • Hanamichi started crying openly and loud. Fortunatly you two were alone. He turned to hide his face in your belly while you were caressing him, saying that everything would be okay.
  • He felt his guilt be washed away by your touch and voice, and when it was gone, safety took its place.
  • You were his light, his safe harbor... Now and forever.

  • Sakuragi is a big teddy bear who wants (and deserves) a lot of love. So the main quality of his dream girl is being a caring person;
  • Dating Sakuragi means a lot of love demonstrations, so he likes girls who likes to hug, kiss and, mainly, hold hands. As he gets used to the idea that he's dating, he'll like a lot of PDA too;
  • Sakuragi loves the idea that he can protect his girl from everything bad, but inly, he really needs (and loves) a girl that can protect him from his sadness and impulses;
