Andy’s breathing is ragged as she falls to the ground. Her vision is blurred, and she can taste metallic blood on their mouth. Their blood. Every breath she takes is pained and haggard, as she reaches for the god who’s made her this way.

Zeus.

Another lightning bolt sends waves of heat and pain shooting through her body. Her vision blurs again, this time with red as blood fills her eyes from the wound in her head. She won’t last long, she knows this.

The ground meets her faster than they expect. It’s cold and hard and unyielding. She can feel her energy draining out of her—or was that her life?

its a rainy day and aasia is spending all her time with his mother. they’ve taken a break from whatever they were asked with, and just try making up for the past decade. talias healing, and all her kids are there.

the only thing she doesn’t expect is getting a message from hermes, regarding the death of a god. much less a gos she know a little too well

Andy watches as the god leaves her to die. Typical of Zeus. She wallows, and it’s immediately a mistake, as she begins coughing up blood.

She can’t stop. The blood just keeps coming. Her weakened body is wracked with coughs as blood continues to erupt from her throat. The hot blood is suffocating.

Her time is almost up.

“shit” aasia doesn’t know why she’s running, because she doesn’t care about andy anymore.

thats a lie, she taunts herself, she loves andy, and that’s why her date never worked out.

leaving a message for her siblings, she sprints to where hermes told her andrea is, only to find her in the ground, dying with blood instead of ichor.

“rea? shit, stay with me”

Andy’s vision is almost black by the time Aasia gets there. She doesn’t register the person in front of her, and while her brain screams at her to fight for her life, Andy allows herself to slip into the light, dreaming—dying.

Funnily enough, it’s not painful. All the pain she went through, but in her last moments, and doesn’t feel anything. Just a soft touch of Charon guiding her to the shores of the River Styx.

“shit shit shit, no rea, rea it’s me,” aasia shakes andy, “wake up, cmon wake up.”

she uses her shadows, going all the way to the underworld trying to pull andy out, straining herself.

Andy can feel herself being touched by someone, but nothing registers. She’s like a bystander in their own life. She watches as Aasia tries to bring her back, until Thanatos puts a hand on her shoulder.

“Time to go, Andy,” he says.

Andy watches the scene with tears in her eyes. She’s not in pain. She always thought they’d go out fighting, but not like this. Andy thought she’d die in pain, but she dies soft and still and cold.

“no! thanatos stop, please don’t!“ she begs, anything just anything. she extends her shadows even more, the strain almost hurts her now, but she’s determined

“please.”

“You know the rules, Aasia,” says Thanatos. Andy reaches out, tears falling from her cheeks, but Aasia can’t see her. She knows this.

He gently ushers Andy down, first to Greece, and then to the cave which enters the underworld. She’s crying by the time she reaches Hades’ kingdom.

when thanatos is gone she tells herself, “i’ve never cared for the rules.”

with that she dives to the underworld, grabbing onto whatever hope she can. persephone will help her, she knows this.

Hades is helping Andy into Elysium when a thunderous noise interrupts them. She’s left in the car if the nymphs, as Hades and Persephone hurry ti see what the commotion is about.

for her thunderous appearance aasia isn’t all that thundery. “hades, her time isnt here yet, please let me have them back.” aasia all but begs, “any favours you seek from the children of the night will be yours.” aasia never gives favours.

“What’s happening?” Andy asks.

Persephone shakes her head and shrugs. “I don’t know, but Hades will handle it.” She kisses Andy on the forehead and smiles at her warmly. “You’re home. The other Amazons are here too.”

For the first time in her life, Andy is truly safe.

aasia gets past hades with a lot of bargaining. after she dies, her soul will not ascend to elysium and shes okay with that if it means andy’s bsck.

she trails behind him, finallt seeinf andy.

Persephone tries to shield Andy, but it’s no use. Andy stands from her spot under the tree and furrows her brows. What is Aasia doing here?

“andrea. come home please.” aasia all but begs, her tone is pleading as she tries her best not to cry. “ you have a life. the fates dont want you gone. come home.”

Andy looks between Persephone and Aasia. She carefully steps forward toward Aasia. Was it not her time yet? Should she go back?
