⇶ It had been strangely quiet lately and although Atsushi had trust in Isao, it didn’t mean that he wasn’t going to worry about the other, especially after not hearing anything for over a day. So after having waited a bit longer the next day, he decided to go to the Port Mafia building and wait there in the hopes of meeting him or maybe someone who could tell him what had happened. Atsushi couldn’t help but feel like something was off and that something had happened and his mind wandered off to the worst scenarios. This was, until a familiar person stepped into view.
⇶ The weretiger instantly looked up and his eyes widen a bit upon seeing Isao. Without giving it another thought, he rushed up to him to give him a closer look. Upon getting close he could tell that the other was not in his best shape and that it seemed like the last mission had gone wrong. ( At least he was alive and not too badly hurt. ) “ Isao-kun! Are you alright? I was worried about you....”

⇶ Obviously all of this was Dazai’s plan and Atsushi tried his best to trust him but he couldn’t shake the feeling off that something was wrong. That he found himself with someone from the Port Mafia was due the circumstances and said plan from Dazai. It was good that it was not Akutagawa but it didn’t put Atsushi on ease at all. He didn’t trust the Port Mafia, no matter how “ good “ they seemed to be, some of them. At the end they were still the Mafia and he knew that, even if he tried to see something good in them.
⇶ “ I guess we have to work together for today... “ Atsushi said a bit nervously as he tried to put on a smile. He was not really nervous to interact with anyone from the Mafia but rather of if they would get along or not. He didn’t want to disappoint his mentor nor anyone else and for that matter he had to somehow get along with whoever was assigned to him.

⇶ It didn’t happen often that Atsushi and Kyouka would come to work separated from each other ( considering that they both lived together. ), however this time they did as Kyouka came to work earlier and Atsushi much later. He wasn’t in his best shape and had asked for permission to come a bit later when he was feeling better. Things seemed to go in his favor and he was feeling a bit better, enough to finally go to work. As he arrived there, though, he couldn’t find the girl and instantly got worried. As he looked around the office he spotted Regulus.
⇶ “ Ah, hello Regulus-kun. Have you seen Kyouka-chan? “ Atsushi directly asked as he walked over to him. It was likely that she was busy with another mission somewhere but Atsushi couldn’t help but ask anyway just in case. He was responsible for her and he felt like an older brother to her and didn’t want her to get hurt in any way and hoped that Regulus could take a bit of that nervousness away from him.

⇶ A part of Atsushi could understand why most people in the Agency had given up on trying to stop Dazai from his suicide attempts but because of that Atsushi had to try harder, even if it meant to jump into the river again for the fifth time this week. ( And it was only Wednesday. ) Often had Atsushi wondered what Dazai’s reasoning for suicide was but at the end he decided never to directly ask for it as it felt like it was wrong. As long as he could save Dazai every single time, it was okay.
⇶ “ I hope you aren’t hurt, Dazai-san... “ He let out a sigh, a concerned expression on his face. It was annoying at times as Dazai was doing it so often but there was always the fear that Dazai might succeed at some point and Atsushi didn’t want this. After all Dazai had been the person who had helped him so much and Atsushi would never be able to forgive himself if something were to happen to the No Longer Human User. “ Can you please stop jumping into the river? It’s cold and I think we might catch a cold if we do it again... “

⇶ Atsushi had been a bit concerned of Yumeno’s safety, especially lately as so many things seemed to happen. The weretiger was still confident int he fact that Yumeno hadn’t done the things he had done because he was a malice person but rather just a scared child. ( Atsushi could understand him and feel with him. ) There had been the urge to ask Dazai to somehow find a way into the Port Mafia building just to check up on Yumeno but he knew that his mentor was not very fond of the child and at the end Atsushi had to leave it up to fate if he was going to meet the other again or not.
⇶ Much to his wish, he was able to spot Yumeno outside, apparently fishing, one morning. Atsushi had been on his way to the Agency but as soon as he saw Yumeno he decided to text Kunikida and excuse himself before walking over to Yumeno. There were a lot of things he wanted to say and had to say and he first wanted to start of by apologizing for all the things Dazai had done to him and then for all the things that had happened to him but before that he wanted to see if Yumeno was willing to talk to him in the first place. “ Ah? Yumeno-kun? “
