“You brought your telescope? For a two-week trip?”
Emmet swallows back the embarrassment that wants to rise in his cheeks.
“Yeah. I thought the view would be nice.”
“I guess that makes sense.” Lincoln’s eyes are darting around the room, Emmet wonders if he’s looking for an exit. He’s not sure he can blame him for it if he is; this is pretty awkward. He really wishes they could talk somewhere else, somewhere away from all these people. They always were better on their own. Emmet looks around to see who is nearby before he speaks again, a plan still only barely formed in his head.
“I’m probably going to take it to the beach one of these nights, actually. I think the stars over the ocean will be really amazing. You could come, if you want?”
Lincoln’s eyes are wide with surprise. Emmet wants to take the words out of the air and shove them back into his lungs, but that ship has sailed; he’s stuck dealing with the results of his impulsivity.
“I…uh…I don’t know, Emmet. I’ll think about it?”

I created a whole situation for this, and one day I might write the little fic that's been growing in my head. Danny doesn't have enough tricks to make it out of this one.

Fic Link

Summary: Martin Blackwood is many things: a poet, a boyfriend, a son, a caretaker… and, though he doesn’t want to admit it, an Archivist. The knowledge sits heavy in him, but he does not ask Jon for confirmation.

As he ascends the steps of the tower at the beginning of the end of the ruined world to kill the Archive, he wonders if ignorance can be bliss even if it's feigned.

Another take on MAG200 told through memories, statements, and the realization that even a monster will burn if doused in love like gasoline.

So you want to format your podfic on ao3

(the end product will look something like this!)

so this process has three parts: the hosting (i use archive.org; one of mine, for reference), the work skin, and the actual posting

the hosting: you have to put the audio somewhere that the internet can find it. there are other ways to do this, but im most familiar w archive.org and so that's what i use here. it's rly easy to make an account + upload audio, although it takes a minute for things to upload.

the work skin: this is what makes it look nice. here's how to make a work skin! paste the above code in, and use it when posting

the posting: so paste the posting code in the html box while creating your work. make sure it's html, not rich text. i have a few notes on here that should help you out; just change the info/links as needed

Depending on where you began the story, it was about shelbychild  Artist ❦ @shelbychild​_ How did you come up with the idea for this project?

I love Ronan & Blue and their relationship in the books - I just couldn’t get over an au where they knew each other as children and reconnected during the book’s events. That, and I feel that Maura & Aurora could’ve formed a support group for their strange little kids.

Depending on where you began the story, it was about miniaturemangoes Writer ❦ @miniaturemangos​ • Happy_Mango on AO3_ Why did you join this project? What are you looking forward to creating?

I adore Ronan & Blue’s in canon relationship and wanted to be able to explore that more in depth. Working on this project also allowed me to give a peek into what both the Barns & 300 Fox Way were like before the catalyst events we see in canon.
