Okay so i haven’t reread carry on in over a year but i’m still tempted to analyze this. I also realized halfway through I havent read wayward son yet so if theres evidence there im completely lost im sorry

“A yandere is often sweet, caring, and innocent before switching into someone who displays an extreme, often violent or psychotic, level of devotion to a love interest.” Yeah Simon had his kinda violent breakdowns but that was always because of the humdrum or a magic thing, it wasn’t from my memory related to Baz at all (and even if there was one it was more anger towards baz then really for him) 

I guess the first description fits him but that’s just kinda the himbo energy in general so i don’t know. Most of the yanderes are like very possessive but Simon doesn’t really show that, he also doesnt try to kill anyone who didnt deserve it (read mage) So i don’t think so? He might be a dere of a different type though.
