Zant’s battle theme in Twilight Princess is such a masterpiece in musical storytelling when compared to other character themes in the Zelda franchise that I could spend like an hour writing up on how nobody understands Zant and how him being a fake out antagonist and a total loser in reality was actually a genius idea because his entire rise to power was stealing Midna’s throne. And when you confront him, you find out he doesn’t actually have anything of his own, it’s all stolen. And the music perfectly reflects that because Zant’s battle theme doesn’t have a strong melody. It’s mostly accompaniment and the real melody is a medley of stolen melodies from other bosses just as Zant steals their attacks.
I love Zant.
you can literally say anything to men, it doesn’t matter

Everyone loves to find hidden gems, and Sega’s consoles have plenty of them. The Dreamcast is a console that’s appreciated more nowadays than it was at the time of its release, so many gamers missed out on its creative library. Elemental Gimmick Gear (or E.G.G.) feels like a title that should have gone down as a cult classic, but was instead lost to time. It was one of the console’s earliest RPGs and also one of its best, and it’s one of the only options available to those looking for a 2D Zelda equivalent on Sega’s last console.
