I know I don't have many followers, but could those who see this pitch in what they can? I don't know Amer personally, but I have family in his city, and it was a long process for them to immigrate and establish themselves there. Despite the challenges, they had each others' support, and I would want Amer and his family to be able to have that same support

They still using this shit-ass talking point even if it has been refuted a million times?

Even if you wanna argue for this point, Palestinians are an arabized people who are descendants of the ancient Levantines. They have a history tracing back before Islam and Christianity. In fact, Palestinian Christians and Palestinian Samaritans make up one of the oldest communities who have had a continuous presence in the Holy Land. Furthermore, with the Arab expansion following the Prophet's (pbuh&hf) death, the people in the Holy Land were Arabized, and many of them adopted Arab culture. Converting to Islam or being Arabized does not erase your indigeneity. The fact is that they intermingled with the local Christian, Jewish, and Samaritan population due to the lax inter-faith marriage traditions in Islam, this is why Palestinians can trace their lineage back to the ancient Israelites.

Like no matter how much wanna argue, this is such an asinine point.

Additionally the Ancient Israelites were not the first inhabitants. Like the Romans they were an empire that established on the location. We trace our lineage even further back to Ancient Canaan.

As Nur Masalha discusses in his “Palestine: A Four Thousand Year History”, the identity and cultures of Palestine are living organisms: they change, evolve and develop.

People in the comments: please stop talking about how "it's not relevant" that part of the zionist narrative steals our history to excuse itself of colonization. It very much is part of the pattern that allows zionists to claim land and enforce occupation — "archeology" that is manipulated and falsified manufactures much of the consent you see for violence. Academia, as I mention multiple times, enforces colonization and the theft of culture and history is how zionists rewrite history to erase our ties to the land.

Israel killed a number of my family members after it bombed our house. Then it arrested my father, tortured him, and besieged the rest of us after we were displaced to Al-Shifa Hospital. It starved us until we had to grind animal food to satisfy our hunger. Pls help me evacuate the rest of my family out of Gaza.

More details of what happened to my family I wrote in the link

Great! I was fired from my job in Germany today because I am Palestinian. :)

Hi, I'm Amal, a Palestinian architect from Gaza! I traveled to Germany two years ago to support my family back in Gaza. Since we lost our house, shops, and all our sources of income, I've had to shoulder the financial burden alone. It's been incredibly tough for me in the last eight months to send money to my family weekly, especially with the ongoing war destroying our income and causing prices in Gaza to skyrocket. There were days when I had zero money for days on end. I even had to downgrade from an apartment to a single room to cover my expenses and rent. I also lost my company; yes, I had a small architectural firm in Gaza. I had dreams of seeing it grow, but everything crumbled.

Now, both my family and I are without homes and jobs. This is unbearable! Is being Palestinian a curse, or what?

I really can't bear it anymore. Isn't it enough that our photos are all over social media platforms, appealing for donations on GoFundMe? What bothers me the most is that the innocent people who donate to us are just like us, struggling to pay rent and taxes, already burdened with their own hard lives. On top of that, I feel like a burden to them. Why should nations pay for the consequences of the stupidity and brutality of their leaders? They might start World War III instead of stopping genocide!

Four months ago, I fell victim to someone in a high position in Egypt who pretended they would evacuate my family for 20k, instead of the 40k. To some of you, this might seem like a small amount, but for me, it was all I had. Why does the world agree to suffocate us? Why do we have to pay money for our lives at all?

I feel daily ashamed for not joining the protesters; I keep asking myself if I get arrested, they'll kick me out. But to where? I am completely without a home to shelter me if I was kicked out! What will happen to my family? Who will support them? Why are we being exterminated, and our children slaughtered?

Why was I fired? 💔

Why is this world so cruel? 💔

A Thousand Whys and Whys!

I needed to vent my anger. Thank you to everyone who read this.

Once again asking why there was a music festival at the edge of the world's largest open air prison where people were dancing and partying while people were being starved and imprisoned so close to them. How is that a "peaceful" festival.

Literally the one question no one has an answer to. Why were they there. Why did the Israeli government let them have a party there. Out of everywhere in "Israel", why did you have a party near the largest concentration camp as a citizen of an occupying nation.

One of the reasons I don't like the word "peace" in the context of Israeli activism is that Israelis are obsessed with symbolic one-sided thoughtless gestures. And it never matters how Palestinians feel about these gestures. We'll see things that are meant to be beautiful and bring us all together, and they're just. In poor taste at best, or often hurtful and offensive. And it's just what happens when "peace" is the paint you use to cover injustice and oppression, instead of being willing to look at the root cause of the issue and fix it. We're just too comfortable. It's like "I don't see color" dialed up impossibly high. Pretending the injustice isn't there, it's just a "conflict" where we have to learn to like each other, so here, we're making a gesture and offering a hand. And if they can't and don't want to take it because we locked them up, well, we can say we tried. For us it keeps alive the fantasy that we're trying to reach a fair resolution. We're the good ones.

our family wants to leave Gaza for a better life, where our children can grow up without fear and continue their education in peace.

Lama, their 8-year-old, is smart and loves swimming and writing. She dreams of a peaceful childhood, far from bombs and destruction.

Hussam, a courageous 5-year-old from Gaza, is smart and loves football. He dreams of a peaceful childhood, far from bombs and destruction.

Maram, the youngest at 1 month, is a bright and beautiful baby. Her future holds promise if she can survive the war. Your kindness can be their lifeline.

Every donation brings hope. Share this post and spread the word!

By the way, Israel made sure that when it started its invasion of Rafah to have that initial area include the only hospital in Rafah.

Right now, there is literally only one single functioning healthcare provider in Rafah, the Kuwait Specialty Hospital, that is supposed to serve 1.4 million people and it's in fact a small healthcare centre.

Despicable beyond measure. You simply cannot pretend to not see through these genocidal tactics.
