In my ongoing library adventures, I picked up “The Red Scrolls of Magic” on a whim last month and then got trapped in Shadowhunters on Netflix for weeks.  Anyway, these two are too powerful.

it’s a testament to magnus’ exhaustion that when he boards his late night flight, he barely notices the attractive giant of a man in the seat next to him. when he finallly does notice it’s because he wakes up mid-flight feeling much warmer and comfortable than expected.

taking off his sleep mask, he discovers to his absolute mortification that his head was resting on the hot stranger’s shoulder. and that’s not all. there’s a jacket (stylish and classic yet too simple to belong to magnus himself) draped carefully over his shoulders and chest.

“you looked cold,” is all the man says, refusing to take the jacket when magnus tries to return it.

magnus maybe falls a little bit in love. he most certainly falls back asleep, and when next he wakes up, there’s an arm draped over his shoulder in addition to the warm jacket.
