Goodbye

After years of drowning in depression that became severe enough that I abandoned everyone I knew, hid myself away, and cut contact with the world, I’ve finally reached my limit.

I want to mention that I didn’t abandon anyone out of anger, spite, or hatred. It was because I am a coward. I became so fearful of abandonment that I completely isolated myself before anyone could leave me first.

I left things open in the hopes that I would get better and return someday. But it’s become painfully clear that that will never happen. Life is more suffering than happiness. That’s not the life I want to live.

So I offer you all a farewell, as well as my sincerest apologies.

I can’t take being alone anymore. I don’t want to face the feeling of total abandonment on my birthday.

Goodbye. I hope I maybe mattered to someone out there for at least a little while.

Hello there.I am sorry about the long wait. I had originally intended to post the final chapter shortly after the first two. Unfortunately, my debilitating self loathing has come back full force. Convinced that I was annoying people, I isolated myself from my friends to give them a much needed break from my nonsense. But now, I am struggling with a crippling loneliness instead. I don't want to bother people, but I also feel so alone. It's hindering my ability to write.I still plan on getting the final chapter posted eventually. About a fourth of it has already been written. Hopefully I can start to feel better soon and I can finish it before long.I do thank you so very much for the message. The fact that there are people out there who legitimately enjoy my stories makes me feel like I might actually be worth at least something. TwT I sincerely appreciate it, and I promise that I will finish that tale no matter how long it takes. -Coffee

Hahhh, I don’t want to give up on my writing. It just gets hard for me. I hit flare-ups in my chronic illness and my confidence levels go way down. 

But I still have every intention of finishing all of my planned stories! Was there one in particular that you found most interesting? It always helps to know which of my stories people would like to see. :3

I will give a heads up before I do, but there is a good chance I'll be deleting this blog soon. Mostly cuz I might be shutting down my fanfiction account as well. I'll give you a warning, though.

Heh...Not a dumb question at all! For many many reasons (most of them dumb) I actually tried to keep it unclear at first. But those issues have long since been resolved.Yes, Coffee Fueled Author and Frillythingy are one and the same. I prefer to keep them separated, though. Frillythingy is my drawing persona while Coffee is my writing. While I don't keep it secret and will tell those who ask me, I keep them apart so that my writing is not judged based on my art ability and vice versa. It also allows people to choose if they want to follow my art, my stories, or both.So while they have separate accounts and I stick to the different screen names based on what I'm doing, I am still just the one person. Like I said, it's old and dumb and just my own weird weirdness, haha. Sorry to be so confusing!! TwT

I don’t think enough people understand how important feedback is to someone like a fanfiction author.

There’s something so disheartening about posting a new story or chapter and not receiving one iota of response, be it good or bad.

I implore all you readers out there; don’t lurk in the shadows! These writers are offering you their works for free! Show you appreciate them by taking just a few moments to write them a review! It doesn’t have to be an essay! Just say if the plot worked or what made you excited or maybe what didn’t turn out so great and might need altering. It lets the writer know you’re reading their work! Nothing makes a writer happier than reading people’s responses. It’s a super easy way to make their day 2000 times better! And you might even make a friend out of it!

So please remember that writers live for feedback!! In fact, every artist does! Take a moment to let them know that you are enjoying their creations! It’s super important!

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta dig myself out of a funk so I can get back to my stories.

Progress and What is to Come

Alright, guys. I think its time I give ya another update on what’s going on.

I have been moving forward in my attempt to achieve a steady income via my patreon. If I can succeed in doing so, I will be able to finish stories hanging in limbo like Out of Place. I will also be able to write all day everyday, meaning so much more for you all to read! I’ll also be able to set up a work schedule that I will make public, so you can see when I am working on which stories and what days you can expect bonuses to appear on Patreon for donating members. This is the goal! I would so love to see this achieved! 

As promised, the two fanfictions that I had floating around my computer are now being posted on fanfiction.net. You can give those a quick read if you want to remember what you can expect from my writing style. 

Also! I have provided you with 13 of my current story ideas, complete with titles and short descriptions! They can be found here ! Go ahead and look through them to find what interests you. And if you can, please go right here and click on the Vote Now! at the top of the page to vote for which of these 13 ideas you’d like to see worked on! You get to choose up to five!

So where are we right now?

Right now I am just waiting for enough people to vote on the story ideas they like so I can begin the next step. When I have the results, I will be writing the first chapter for whichever choices had the most votes. This is so you can see just what the story would look like.

And that’s when I’ll have to pause.

Because of my financial situation, I will only be able to continue writing all of these stories if I have a steady income. If I cant make money from my stories, then I'll have to find a more profitable way to spend my time. I don’t have many options left, so I’m really trying my hardest to get this to work.
