We live in a world where Star Trek The Final Frontier is a thing.

A Star trek film, directed by William Shatner. Where Spock has a rogue half brother who has a beard and unkempt hair and a smile which could warm anyone’s heart.

A film with the craziest yet enjoyable music. State of the art ‘special effects’.

Kirk mugging off a God like creature. [see “What does God need with a star ship]

Incredible bffs conversations between Jim, Spock and Bones.

MARSH MELONS.

Uhura and Scotty <3

Chekov and Sulu lost?! And try to play it out?!?! [see blowing into a communicator]

‘Not in front of the Klingons’

Jim AND Bones holding onto Spock.

Like this all happened. This is an actual film.

What a world to live in

Watched this film (not for the first time) last night and I love it, I know it gets a lot of stick but its great in its own way and always worth watching. Something new I noticed this time round, if Spock was the gunner for the Klingon ship then after he took out the God-like entity he purposely pointed the gun at Kirk essentially just for laughs, we knew Spock had a sense of humour anyway but that definitely made me chuckle.

“Y'see, I feel sorrier for you than I do for him. Because you’ll never know the things that love can drive a man to. The ecstasies, the miseries, the broken rules, the desperate chances, the glorious failures, the glorious victories… All of these things you’ll never know. Simply because the word ‘love’ isn’t written into your book.” 3x19 - Requiem for Methuselah
