nothing more satisfying than telling people that don’t know much about naruto that he and sasuke kissed in canon
other insane things that happened that people who don’t watch naruto probably think we made up:
- sasuke’s “were you really able to read inside this heart of mine?” (x)
- naruto’s “i’ll bear the burden of your hatred and die with you” (x)
- naruto waking up, seeing that he’s lying next to sasuke in the floor and asking if they’re in heaven
- naruto seeing a shooting star in the sky, immediately closing his eyes and going “sasuke…” (x) (x)
- the ending where only sasuke and naruto show up and they’re walking towards each other while the lyrics say “please kiss me, please kiss me. all night” (x)
- sakura telling naruto: “sasuke, sasuke, sasuke! that’s all you think about” (x)
- sasuke’s “farewell my one and only (long pause) friend”
- when sasuke almost dies in the first arc there’s a montage of all the moments between him and naruto INCLUDING the kiss (x)
- “i was dreaming about sasuke” (x)
- “you became my goal” (x)
- this scene during their first fight in part 1
- naruto feeling “giddy” over the thought of talking to sasuke when they were kids (x)
- sasuke’s “i am in naruto’s world. i am blessed to exist.” (x) (this is on one of the novels not in the manga or the anime but i’m including it i don’t care)
- after their first fight and before sasuke leaves the village he kneels above naruto and looks at him with regret and sadness (this is the scene that was recreated many times in some endings and openings and where they look like they’re about to kiss each other)
- in that same scene sasuke says “naruto i…” and never finishes the sentence
- “naruto unravels the obstinate sasuke’s heart in a bitter-sweet way…!?”.- naruto databook 1 (re: their kiss) (x)
- “so i’m a good match with sasuke, huh?” (x)
- “then, every time i’d see you, i’d think about you more and more” - sasuke about naruto (x)
- “his driving force is sasuke” - kakashi about naruto (x)
- THEIR MOON AND SUN SOULMATES TATTOOS (x) (x)
there is so much more that i’m probably missing or don’t remember right now but yeah this isn’t just a “two friends who interact with each other sometimes” or whatever type of ship. naruto and sasuke’s relationship is the basis of the story. even more so when it comes to the second part, shippuden. which is literally about naruto trying to save and get sasuke back.
