I started this blog because I figured why make my interest in the Avatar universe the problem of people who know me when it can be the internet's problem.

As I've discovered more great content, curating it all is challenging beyond what the archive page provides. Linked below are my favorite tags and highlights beyond Best Of or a Random page.

Not that I'm totally obsessed or anything. Definitely not.

legend of korra was really so ahead of its time. "what if your dad got reincarnated into an angry queer girl" "what if you brought warplanes to the martial arts fight" "what if henry ford was a terrorist and after you got him thrown in jail you dated his daughter and fucked off to the spirit world with her"

honestly it is sort of charming to me that the ATLA fandom has been hung up on the same imaginary teenage love triangle for fifteen years...personally I feel like it is NOT my business if Katara and Aang want to get married too young and have like a million children. godspeed to them, or whatever. but Sokka and Suki should definitely absorb Zuko into whatever they've got going on, mostly because I think it would be hysterical for two non-benders who can pass for straight if they do not open their mouths to have a regular third who is the hereditary monarch of the fire magicians. can you imagine. there's just a king in your house sometimes, rummaging half-naked through your fridge for snacks and complaining about how people keep trying to have him assassinated, and you can't tell anyone about it. hilarious dynamic.

You can't just leave half this story in the tags!

With the final episode of LoK over right smack in the middle of the holiday season, I wanted to take the time to thank the entire Korra community. The fandom’s been through its share ups and downs, but overall I’m just overwhelmingly grateful for the impact it has had on me; the impact Korra has had on me. While the show may be over, my love for it will never cease, just as it hasn’t for A:tLA. I don’t know if I could have asked for a better Christmas present than to see her story come to such a great conclusion. Thank you, Bryke. Thank you, Korra fans. Thank you to everyone who took part in the greatness that was, and still is, the Legend of Korra.

Thank you for everything.

I wanted to say thank you to the community as well, both for the great art of an amazing world, but to the fans as well. Every time someone goes through my reblogs, I get to enjoy all the pieces I found all over again.
