What little Alfred knew, or did not know, of your relations with his mother, you were not sure. The pumping of liquid fear shot through your veins, crushing you as you rush to sit up. Alfred wills your motions down, his ringed hand motioning you down from your desperate state. That’s it, then.
“Come in, mother.” Alfred whispers, soft but firm.
Queen Judith comes in, arms swaying. She comes to a stop beside the bed, reaching out to settle a hand over your swollen belly. She catches the chills down your arms, with hawk eyes like hers, but otherwise scans you for wounds. Or her grandchild, whom she so anticipates the arrival of.
“What is it?” he asks.

I saw her standing between Olaf and Harald, nodding her head as she listened to them. She would speak up from time to time but she mostly listened.
YN Sigurdsdóttir, full sister to Harald and half-sister to Olaf Haraldsson is unlike any woman I have ever met.
But then again before I left Greenland, I only knew of the people from there and only ever had my pick of the women from there.

I’m super soft for the Generation Xerox 1996 Williams team ahhh. Just super soft how Damon and Jacques grew up with tough childhoods after the loss of their dads, had everyone doubt them and constantly compare them to their fathers and then both fought hard under the burden of their family names and came out victorious. And also Jacques essentially said “Damon Hill, teammate (affectionate)” while everyone else was “teammate (derogatory)”
