Thoughts on Jenissi and ToppDogg

I guess it’s finally time for me to actually talk about this.

For those who haven’t seen the news yet, it has been confirmed that Jenissi will be leaving ToppDogg, to continue his career as a solo artist.

Who is surprised, honestly? I mean… I know I’ve been telling people for a long time to not say he would leave the group until it had been confirmed by the company or himself, but I knew he wouldn’t be staying for this comeback. I don’t know. I guess I still had a bit of hope.

The thing is: I’m not sad he’s leaving. I was at first, when the rumors started, but not anymore. Maybe it’s because I’ve already seen three members leave and now I’m immune to it, but maybe it’s just because I know he will be great as a solo artist. Do you guys remember how happy he was to release his first album? How much it meant to him? He looked so happy to perform his own songs onstage, by himself. To tell his own story. I think going solo will be great for him and I’m really excited to hear his next songs.

Also, ToppDogg are having a comeback. They are FINALLY coming back!! I can’t let myself be too sad for Jenissi because something good is happening for him but there is also something good happening for ToppDogg! Weather its 9 members or less, I will keep supporting them and all of the members who have left.

I know a lot of you must be devastated by the news (especially the new fans… sorry guys) but please, please put all your energy in supporting ToppDogg! There is no need to be mad at Hunus or to blame it on Koreaboo (though most of the posts I’ve seen were hilarious, good job ToppKlass!). Let’s all do what we do best and support our boys, as well Jenissi who will be continuing as a solo artist.

We have a full length album to look forward to and Jenissi’s solo activities. Also remember that Hyunho is finally back and that we only have a bit less than year to wait for Dongsung to come back from the military.

Everything is good. And everything will be fine, as long as ToppKlass are there for ToppDogg.
