tribe and it’s place in the world: an opinion piece

honestly a lot of tribe fans and i mean TRIBE, not exile, not second, not sandaime, i mean TRIBE (especially you jr exile fans) need to realise one thing: LDH is never going to try to follow in the footsteps of KPOP. a lot of you, for some fucking reason, are so hung up on LDH trying to get more popular or increase their reach into the international market and let’s be real: it is not happening. LDH’s biggest talent atm (imo) probably isn’t even tribe, it’s fuckin LiSA (i think). tribe, and especially sandaime and older, have no fucking place in the international asian music market! not when kpop has such a stronghold on it, not when anime music occupies the other 10%, tribe as a whole probably hasn’t been relevant since 2008/2009 because AKB48 has been winning all the awards since then. profit and fame first and foremost has never been what drove LDH, it was culturing and helping people achieve their lifelong dreams. LDH is not an idol farm unlike other agencies who i will not name, and people need to start accepting that Japan is where LDH will stay for the rest of its life. it will not spread and become a worldwide phenomenon, it never wanted to and it’s far too late for that to ever happen. frankly, trying to push LDH and its current fans into adopting stan/idol culture/kpop marketing strategies is everything against what LDH stands for. tl;dr, stop begging ldh to become more popular. it won’t.
