Is this thing on????
After four years since I took a social media break, I’m five days away from surgery and a reset of my fitness. On the other side of surgery is 50 miles for my 50th birthday in 2024. I’ll blog my road to recovery. Here we go …..

I woke up this morning and decided to take a social media break for the month of August. I love this community but need to take a break from all social media. I’ll be back September 1 to let you know how it went. Can I survive a month without it? We’ll see!
Fake it until you make it Thursday run. I wanted to have a glass of wine and call it a day but instead pushed myself out the door. 6 miles in the bank. RFM @busylivinnow
Early morning trail miles on Sullivan Canyon with birthday girl Carol. It was not pretty but the miles are in the bank. The road to fitness continues...
Friday night aerobic run around the Marina. While I miss the views in Coal Harbour, Vancouver, my neighborhood views do not suck. Feeling blessed! RFM FTW!
Tagged by @littlerunnergurl to SDS. Post-Orange Theory sweaty selfie, Vancouver edition. You’d be hard pressed to find a gym with better views. I tag @busylivinnow and @runningmyownrace
Monday morning Orange Theory class with an ocean view. Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Brunch and walk along the water. Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Sunday funday 2 hr long run through Stanley Park. I did not have a water bottle or fuel (bad runner!) so had to stop for lemonade at the 1:30 mark. After a 30 min warm up, I was able to hold pace for an hour then had to run easy back to my friend’s house. Now brunch!
Beautiful day in Vancouver. 6.5 mile hike at Lynn Canyon, North Van. Another 4.5 miles of walking around the city. Possible 3 mi run to the Stanley Park cannon tonight.
Good morning from Vancouver, BC, Canada!
Sunday Funday 2 hour run. View from the turn around. Sufferfest of heat and humidity. My hat is off to all of you in the rest of the country who deal with this weather every day. I’m not acclimated to this weather.
HOT Friday miles! 4.25 mi. This was supposed to be 7 mi but the heat cut it short. HR was sky high. No surprise given the fact that I was in the cool PNW last weekend. My body is confused. Long run in the heat tomorrow.
Sunday Runday, PNW edition. Mile repeats on the Sammamish Trail. I’m jealous of your running weather @thirtyplus
From hiking to wine tasting. First Estate Canned Chardonnay. Not terrible.
Rattlesnake Ledge. Rattlesnake Lake, WA.
Vacation time!!! Coffee tasting, Bellevue, WA.
