I added the Franklin Badge to my lineup of MOTHER/EarthBound pin designs! This one is based on the way it looks in Smash Bros since that's kind of accepted as the "main" appearance, though I would like to make the gold colored version too. It comes in two sizes.
One of my cats decided today was a good day to have a health scare and cost me a lot of money to find out he has ear mites and needs some dental work. So you know what that means: Time for a sale! 25% off everything!
It's gardening season and I needed some rocks to make the pond area nicer, so my mom and I went in together on some from a local place we've dealt with for years. We asked for Arkansas fieldstone, which we've bought before and know the price of. But the price they gave us was dramatically more than the posted price, and as an alternative offered us what we thought was sandstone. It turned out to be some kind of clay-based stuff that crumbles and dissolves in water. They refused to make any kind of deal to get us what we actually want (and their website says they do sell Arkansas fieldstone for the price we were expecting) so we're not working with them anymore, and also stuck with a bunch of melty rocks.
I still need fieldstone though and to help pay for it, I'm running a sale! 20% off for the next week!

Here's a video of some fish foraging! I was trying to catch the big tadpole burrowing in the leaves too, but he stopped moving. You can still see his tail, but it's hard to spot without movement.
Time for a pond update! I got some more rocks to build with, maybe this year I'll attract lizards! I wanted more Arkansas fieldstone but the rock store only had sandstone. It looks weird right now, but it should darken as bacteria and fungi grow on it, and I'm also going to try staining it with oak leaf tannins and black tea. Last fall's tadpoles are still around, possibly starting to grow legs?? Hard to tell. I've also got fish again and nothing has eaten them! There are plenty more rocks to play with, but I ran out of energy and had to stop at the point in the first picture.

Johto badges are (finally) here! You'd think I would have done them sooner, since Johto is my favorite region...anyway, they're available now as pins and magnets!
These are made with my usual method, which is hand drawing the art in Clip Studio Paint, then printing on shrink plastic. After shrinkage they're coated with UV resin.
It used to be that Etsy's free shipping guarantee only worked on first-class, if you wanted something else you still had to pay. Today I learned that's no longer the case, so I quickly went to disable the fastest shipping methods because I don't want someone picking Priority Express and sticking me with the $30+ shipping charge.
EDIT: If I try to remove Priority as an option I get an error about one of my listings not having a valid shipping option without Priority. I call horsehockey because none of my items are big enough to require Priority. What the crap Etsy.
I'm sorry I haven't posted about the pond much. I had a really rough summer and just couldn't spare the energy to post. Things are much better for me now though! Pond talk below the cut.
