“I see that you purposely gave the gingerbread men horrified expressions. I suppose it’s so we feel bad as we eat them?”
“Do you want to know a little secret? The first one I did by accident because I am so bad at it but then I noticed how I could make it work for me and I rolled with it. Can you tell?”

“SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN.” Winnie half sang, half yelled in response, figuring it was a satisfactory answer to the boys question.
Frazer was startled a little by the girl’s volume but began to laugh when he realised what was actually going on. “Ooh now I understand! He’s watching while we’re sleeping and knows when we’re awake!”

“Oh,” she blinked, slowly processing the information before jumping on her feet. “Oh, thanks!” She quickly grabbed her school stuff and hurried after the other students, still feeling a little drowsy. She awkwardly held back a yawn, forcing her mouth shut. “W-what did I miss?” She asked, turning her head to look at the hufflepuff.
“It’s no problem! I did that once and everyone just left me and then I got into like a load of trouble so I thought it would be best to save you.” Frazer tried his best not laugh a little as the girl fought a yawn. “Ooh nothing too important, well I don’t think so. I wasn’t paying much attention, there was like a whole army of birds outside and I couldn’t stop watching them.”

“Okay sorry this is what happens when you say stuff to a Ravenclaw, any anyway it would have sounded cooler if you were actually drunk and had a licence.”
“Louis stop being smart and ruining my potentially cool things, you should adapt to your surroundings. Well give me an hour or so and I’ll find some alcohol and we can try again.”

Laurel shook her head. “Oh my God no,” she replied. “I didn’t even know that existed.”
“How long have you been at this school and you didn’t even know it existed? I’m disappointed in you Laurel.” Frazer feigned disgust, rolling his eyes at her. “Do you want to see it? We can see if it still works... Do you think the paintings still move now that we can’t use magic somehow?”

Cat had gone to the library as books always made her feel safe during storms. She’d barely cleared the stacks when she spotted a familiar face. With a grin, she grabbed the nearest book and went to tap him on the shoulder. His reaction surprised her and she was immediately backtracking. “S-sorry. I didn’t mean to. Guess… I forgot how scary I could be.” Cat teased halfheartedly before moving to sit beside him. “You alright?”
“Are you finding it scary?” Frazer tried to sound like he wasn’t afraid but he was sure his voice gave him away, it was shaky. “I mean it’s a bit scary. I mean a little. But I’m fine, how are you Cat? What do you have there?” He gestured towards the book.

“Oh sorry,” Laurel replied. “I was just wondering if I could sit with you. I don’t really like thunder storms and Wes isn’t here and I’m kind of all bent out of shape from the press conference because they mentioned my mum, and now I’m rambling sorry. I can leave.”
“Ooh..” Frazer felt bad for snapping at her, it wasn’t her fault he was jumpy. “No do not be silly Laurel, what good would I be if I told you to go away? Why don’t we just.. Have you ever seen the painting on the third floor that has a dog who plays fetch with a ball thrown by a cat?”
