The Ceccere Manor

Ceccere Manor is a pompous baronial building in the region of the southern Scottish Ayr. The manor itself is found in the more northern surroundings of the county and built out of tailored marble bricks which are ivory-white in colour. Characteristic for this beautiful building is the romanesque style which was used to design the manor's outer walls. Reaching almost three stories tall, the manor is covered in beautiful long and round arches as well as steadfast yet fine pillars made from clean stone. Over the time being, the house may have changed its owner a lot of times, but never its state of condition, not a single crack can be found in this magically altered works of masonry ever since it was first declared finished in the 19th century.

I’ve always seen slytherin as the house where those of personal ambition and loyalty. so values like ambition and cunning could also be describes as driven and resourceful. slytherin are goal-oriented and will use whatever tools they have at their disposal to achieve their means (yes including breaking the rules if needed, morals can be thrown out if need be). there’s a primary importance of the self to slytherins & personal achievement. so yeah, the drive / ambition of a slytherin can be selfish, but it’s not a bad thing. (ambition =/= bad and I’m tired of jkr pretending it is)

but also the personal loyalty I mentioned could be described as “me and mine” so to speak. ya know how the sorting hat says in slytherin you’ll make your real friends (or however it goes)? it’s that kinda idea, of having a close knit circle of trust. this kinda mirrors hufflepuffs, but it’s a much smaller circle and more focused on the personal loyalty. there’s the priority of helping themselves / their circle, without caring how it impacts strangers. 

so like in canon, think merula snyde and narcissa malfoy. merula is incredibly driven to prove herself as the strongest witch at hogwarts and has no qualms about how she goes about proving it. narcissa on the flip side straight up lies to the dark lord in deathly hallows to protect her family. this is the protecting me and mine I mentioned.

lolol this got long and hope this makes sense, but i just like rambling about slytherin every now and then.

Slytherin house values ambition, determination, cunning, and tradition.

To me this means knowing what you want in life and having the drive to strive for it. Ambition isn't necessarily a bad thing, just like knowledge isn't a bad thing. It's just if you let it consume you and put aside what matters for it.

I absolutely love tradition. It connects me to my culture and heritage. Of course, not every tradition is great, but I hold onto the ones that work and are meaningful. It's been working for so long, why break it just for the sake that it's "old"?

The epitome of a Slytherin is someone who can identify their dreams, won't let the world stop them from achieving it no matter the struggle, has the brilliance to see things others don't (especially in figuring out ways to reach that goal), and honor the traditions of those who have gone before them. 💚

I absolutely love being a Slytherin.

It's been a while since I've felt satisfied with an art piece but I do with this one. It was fun to do. I find Dream interesting, both the player and the character. The mask means many things and plays many roles. It hides, it protects, it keeps secrets. Masks are just fascinating with the implications they bring.

Also I've been loving his latest song, "Mask," and I feel it's pretty relatable. I hope he's rocking 2021 even if his character has been locked in jail for months. 😂

It's Deaf Awareness Week in UK, I'm celebrating with this small sketch of Johnny and Vivi. Johnny is signing the word "Hearing " in BSL - one finger from the ear to the chin Vivi is signing the word "Deaf" - two finger tap to your ear I did it because last time i've painted a picture of them some people got confused, thinking it's Johnny who is deaf. I always try to make signs they do as closely as possible ( but hands and lips positions are hard to draw sorry it's not perfect! 😅) and relevant to what ever I imagine them talking about at the moment. What cracks me up though is the sign for "deaf" in ASL is the sign for "hearing" in BSL 🤣 like guys they're very different languages and ASL is actually derived from French Sign Language and shares about 60% similarity to it

Vivienne really love gold, emeralds and art deco motives. She also loves her devoted assistant.

Vivi was growing up in a beautiful neoclassical palace turned into a wedding venue and hotel, where a lot of pureblooded or just rich wizarding families would spend their summer vacations. But when many of her schoolmates would roam around the beautiful coutryard, play in the gardens or entertrain themselves in many ways the castle provided - she would clean their bedrooms or help to set the tables in the restaurant area and the glamorous apartment for the guests looked nothing like her modest room in her family private quaters in what used to be a servant wing.

The palace was abandoned after Wizarding War, but eventually Vivi started to restore it to use it for a different purpose and took the most prestigeus apartment for herself, filling it with even more ridiculous decor and chachkis.

I work on making this Emerald Estate model in the sims to help me drawing more elaborated illustrations from her home.
