ok i have to go but before i do. ive been thinking about this all day and must get it off my chest. what the HELL is whole body deodorant. who among us is so insufferably uncontrollably stinky that you cant just. shower. or is this like the thing of the future where if you sweat or breath or your skin moves when you make expressions people feel self conscious about it. like what are you doing that you are 1) sweating profusely to the point of noticeable body odor and 2) nobody else can know about it. like im sorry but at that point just be stinky it happens to all of us Sometimes.

Everything Is Changing Poster, front and back, circa 1996. On the back of the poster there are quotes/bios for the characters that narrate books #1-5, which I transcribed previously here. I really like these bios and feel like they are a pretty good short representation of each character at the beginning of the series.

also i'm about to finish buffy i'm about midway through 7. i have a lot of thoughts on this but mostly in this moment i'd just like to say that giving spike his soul back was the lamest writing decision they ever made. BIG PUSSY MOVE joss. let buffy fuck the evil guy i swear. angel didn't have a soul and immediately was like i LOVE kicking puppies and having SEX with UNDERAGE GIRLS!!!! but everyones handwringing like well spike didn't choose to be good he has a chip... he'd be bad if he could. when the same is literally true of anya and her body count is almost certainly higher and nobody cares. giving spike his soul back was just an excuse to not have the grapple with the attempted rape from the previous season which was an incredibly boring writing move. thumbs down. the rest of the season 7 i mostly am enjoying i love the critters they've got. the skin eating thing with the fingernails. 10/10.

#the attempted rape is bad writing in and of itself theyre like buffy has a booboo :( thats why she cant defend herself against this guy that#she normally could literally pick up and throw.#but if they were going to write it in the least they could do was commit to it and spikes storyline in general#rather than giving themselves a get out of jail free card
