Something horrible to consider: when John told Sam that he should stay gone after leaving for Stanford, maybe it was because he wanted his boy to escape. Because if Sam got out, then by God, John wanted him to stay out. Maybe it was too late for him, and maybe it was too late for Dean- but Sammy still had a chance.

John who told his youngest son to stay away from them because he couldn’t stand the thought of losing Sam to that fight the way he’d lost everything else.

I love these two so fucking much.

My son thinks the video of Jared and Shep are of him and Sam. Well actually he thought it was him and his dad. I told him no it’s not of him and daddy. He said, “oh, is me and Sam.” My son has adopted himself into the Padalecki family. At least he’ll still be Polish.

Jared being cute with his family and just being a dorky, fun dad who’s enjoying his hiatus is what i’m here for.
