I have so many followers on this blog what the heck where did you guys all come from. Thank you, though! I’m sorry I’m not super active here, Janna is sort of a side project for me. She’s such a different kind of character, one I’m not used to writing. I should give her more attention,  but I guess I’ll just say this blog is on a semi hiatus? or is semi active. One of those. Whichever makes you feel better, honestly. I’ll try to pop over here a bit more regularly <3

She lays coffin-style, dressed in a shirt as if she had just gone to sleep. The grey pallor of her skin, the clean wounds visible under her clothes, and her seemingly un-breathing bosom are evidently.
A static in the background, her voice not a clangor ━ faded, eyelids at a constant strife to stay open. Air that stings her lungs every time she breathes, and frail fingers tracing the peeled off skin on her thigh.
Words akin to shards of mirror, a searing ache in her throat, ❝So.. she speaks. Ha.❞
They didn’t lie when they said ❛shimmer❜ made one lose their mind.
Her presence has been acknowledged so she feels it appropriate to shift her form completely. The elemental, now in her human skin hovers to sit on the floor next to the bed. Her back leans against it, platinum locks falling wherever it may. Her legs are bent at the knee, tucked sideways and she lays her staff on the ground in front of her. Hands fold gently in her lap and she lays her head back. A sigh, light air whirling about the room.

“ Yes, child. I speak. You are... unwell. Will you allow me to help you?

Fiora stood outside, in the back of her manor. A training dummy in front of her, and her rapier in her hand. Sweat trickled down her body as it rolled onto her blue bikini top and her pink shorts. Such clothing helped her stay cool in the hot Demacian summer.
She practiced nearly everyday. For one to stay the best Grandmaster Duelist, one had to have such commitment to their craft. Fiora would often practice for hours on end, sometimes forgetting to eat. It was an actual duty for her servants to remind her to eat dinner, after the doctor had told them to do so. They really did not one to have to treat Fiora for collapsing due to exhaustion again.
Fiora heard the bird, and while it did sound out of the ordinary, she paid it know attention, sans looking at it for a single second.

They make eye contact and Janna tweets a cheerful song of praise watching the woman. She is exerting herself, sweat shines and sparkles as it rolls across her skin. The spirit tries hard to figure out a way to be useful. Perhaps all she needed was a simple breeze to keep cool while she danced with her sword.

The blue bird vanished, swirling into nothingness. Janna is one with the air now, and she takes a deep breath in. Wind flows toward her. Very carefully, as she knows how harsh her winds can be at times, she breathes out. A light breeze begins to flow across the courtyard. Cool air to challenge the summer heat. Despite being formless, Janna wears a smile in hope that the woman will appreciate her gift.

He sits with his back against a century-old tree that hums softly about how wonderful spring time is. His legs are spread and between them sits the wind spirit, her back leaned against his chest. One of his arms had coiled around her, hand resting on her stomach and she holds a hand on top of his to ensure he doesn’t leave.

Her eyes drift shut and she breathes softly. A gentle breeze wafts as she inhales and exhales. Her hair is wild and loose and endlessly long. She feels his hands run through, brushing strands back away from her face and behind her pointed ear. There is something else there, though.

Janna’s eyes peel open just a touch and she can see him picking small flowers that have grown at the base of the tree. The flowers do not mind as they will spend their dying moments among a goddess and they whisper about how they’ve never felt more beautiful.

Her head turns and she leans up to press soft lips to his jaw a few times before settling back in his arms. If only this moment could last forever.

His mind begins to consider the possibility of catching some of the fish in the river and the merits of sleeping outside against haggling for a room with any straw in the inn when the water rises up and smacks him in the face.
He falls back, catching himself with his palms, brow furrowed and mouth open. Then it returns to one of his usual scowls as he searches the waters, wondering if some freak miniature geyser had erupted as he had stooped down to drink.
Nothing. And the water was otherwise empty and clear to the bottom, so no fish had slapped the water at him with its fin. Yasuo looks around. It wouldn’t be the first time he’d run in with some crazed sorcerer, but this doesn’t seem to be the work of magic. He pulls his cloak over his head and drops it onto the grass, leaving him in a faded undershirt.
He’d rather keep that dry in case of sudden rain. Now he reflects back onto the river, his mind searching for explanations for why nature had decided to spring several pranks on him.
I’ve heard the stories of the signs and omens,” he mutters to the air, “but this is just ridiculous.

The sight of his shock from her little blast of water tickled her a fair bit, but his complete disregard for even the possibility of her presence or any presence was too much for her to handle now. With a sigh that would knock a child off of its feet, she decides it is about time to show herself.

Winds gust and swirl next to him creating a small cyclone, pulling and pushing at everything in its path, but the harshness lasts only a moment. In the next, Janna appears, swirling into her human form sitting on her knees next to where the man had dropped his cloak. Her staff lays in the grass beside her and she stares into the river.

     “ I am not ridiculous!

“ and what of you ? who will watch over you ? it seems cruel for you to watch one’s shoulder and have no eye cast in return. ” she leans over softly, resting her cheek on the other’s shoulder softly.

She feels how genuine the girl’s concern is for her and it makes her heart swell. A gentle hand moves to rest against the side of her face as she leans in.    Don’t forget about me. As long as you need me, I will be fine. It fills me with such happiness to be needed.

Yasuo has just committed to putting one foot in front of the other, concentrating on the simplicity of those motions, when he notices the change in the atmosphere.
He does not bother slowing down to ponder the cause of Mother Nature’s change of heart, but he does appreciate the drop in her severity nonetheless. His feet stamp louder on the dirt path. The length of the road wouldn’t become any shorter, however.
Eventually he makes it out of the mountain path and traverses down a cliff side to where he spots the river sweeping across his path. Now patches of green have begun to appear, and Yasuo heads towards the river banks, eager to appease his thirst.
Surrounded by the steady sound of trickling water, the wind cannot haunt him here.

She follows him and she waits. And waits. And waits. His focus is entirely on the path ahead and he makes no mention of her or the wind. He feels a slight tinge of relief, but nothing substantial. More matter of fact that the wind calmed than anything else. A huff of slight frustration brought forth a quick gust but that was that.

By the time he made it to the river, she was convinced he didn’t care at all that she calmed the breeze for him. Sure, he might not have known it was her. He might not have heard stories of the powerful wind spirit, but he didn’t bother thanking nature, either! What was with him, didn’t he care at all? Janna wasn’t angry, she was just confused.

As he approached the water, she sent a blast of air directly into the stream causing it to splash up at him. Surely he’d acknowledge something! Janna was not used to being ignored.

She gasps with a grin and the wind practically begs to be taken into her lungs. A rush from behind, pushing him toward her. He nearly loses his footing due to how unexpected the gust of wind was, but she is there to steady him, as always. Her arms wind around his neck and she laughs and laughs. Gently her cheek rests against his. When she speaks, her voice is but a whisper in his ear.

“ Oh? Is that what you think?

The elemental does as told, sitting still for the girl and allowing her to offer up her surprise as she wouldn’t allow Janna to know what was happening until she was finished. Luxanna was beaming, though, and Janna couldn’t help but smile. She could feel hands combing through her waves of blonde and poking at her tiara.

Once Lux was satisfied with her work, she brought Janna a mirror and her smile only grew upon seeing herself. The girl had tucked several flowers of different types through her head piece, giving her a proper flower crown. She swirled to her feet and wrapped her arms around the girl, unable to conceal her happiness.

     “ It’s beautiful. Thank you.
