I imagine I’d be wearing a hula skirt! Wouldn’t be the first time, really! You’d be amazed what a little time learning about the way other folks live can teach you in the long run. Made some amazing friends that winter too!

As for things getting shaken up—“ he spoke, pulling himself out of the sudden storm-cloud which had built around him, “—I’m usually the one doing the shaking up, but should a plan go awry, and it always does, I do what I always do; improvise and make it look like I planned it all along...or did I?” The last part also took some thought. “I won’t let go of one thing—my freedom. I won’t give that up. Ever.”

“Nothing makes me feel more like a kid than finding some heretofor unknown ruin or temple. I feel like all my namesdays have come at once whenever that happens. And whenever I accomplish anything, I usually celebrate by acknowledging my own cleverness over coffee...!” That last part took some serious thought. “Hopelessness? What’s hopelessness? The only time things are hopeless is when I’m not around.”
