Top 10 Cynthia Lennon Outfits
Hey everybody! So many fans see Cynthia as a great role model of kindness, graciousness, and all around human decency. But Cynthia is just as much of a fashion icon as any other celebrity, old and/or new. A gorgeous woman from beginning to end, Cynthia had style and a great taste in clothing.
So I’ll be taking a look at what I consider to be Cynthia’s 10 best outfits. This list will mainly cover what she wore during her Beatle years. And as always, this is just my personal opinion. Cynthia had so many great outfits, that it’s really hard to narrow it down to only 10. I will however do some honorable mentions before revealing the number 1 spot (kind of like how I did my top 10 sweetest John and Cynthia moments list). This list will be divided into 3 parts. So let’s begin with:
Number 10: Psychedelic Orange Flower
An often forgotten outfit, Cynthia wore this when she, John, and the rest of the Beatle family, went to visit the Maharishi for the first time. There are only two photos of her wearing this outfit, and it’s hard to spot when considering the other colorful numbers the rest of the gang is wearing.
But when you really take the time to look at it, you see just how interesting an outfit it was. It definitely screams the psychedelic era and combination of yellow, orange, green, and black, go so well together. Cynthia looks amazing in this outfit. And what makes it stand out more is the flower she holds in her hand. A dazzling extra piece of accessory that adds to the already lovely orange beauty.
Number 9: Turtleneck and Sunglasses 😎
When I first saw pics of Cynthia wearing this, I didn’t think much of it. I thought she had worn better outfits and this one didn’t really stand out. But over time I grow to appreciate it more and more. It’s so simple, but it’s done so well, that I can’t help but like it.
I think what I love about this outfit is the combination of colors and how she matches them in order to create one perfect piece. Her coat and skirt match obviously. But then she matches her turtleneck with her purse, which is very cute. And then she goes the extra mile by matching her bow, earrings, sunglasses, AND shoes. And it’s just awesome to compare the colors of her outfit to the one that John is wearing, and noticing the similarities and differences. It just goes to show that even before Yoko, John had a soulmate who also loved to dress up with him.
Number 8: These Boots Are Made For Walking
Although some speculate the exact year in which Cynthia wore this outfit, I’m pretty sure it was taken sometime during 1970. Many might recall that this is the same blouse and vest she wore in that pic of her next to Roberto, while siting at their breakfast table.
But all that aside, Cynthia looks great in this pic and this outfit is just so cute. More than anything, it’s those boots. They really bring out the best of her vest and blouse. And even though she’s in her early 30’s by this point, the outfit makes her look so much younger. And the best part about this outfit is that now since everyone is going all retro, what she’s wearing here is something that many women could wear nowadays (or at least something very similar). So Cynthia’s outfit here is just timeless!!
Stay tune for part 2!!!

The Beatles meet 3000 members of the “Southern Area” Beatles fan club at Wimbledon Palais, London on 14th December 1963. Following a special afternoon concert for fan club members, the Beatles sat behind the bar and met all 3000 fans. They had to stop giving out autographs after the line grew too long and a few girls fainted, otherwise the event was a huge success.
