Part 2
The bed she’s in isn’t hers. The sheets are made of silk, too soft against her skin, and the pillow her head rests on is fluffy with misuse. She’s not in her bed. She’s half undressed and that’s probably of her own doing, because one bra strap is unhooked and the other isn’t. Shoes are missing. There’s a soft light coming in from a crack in the doorway, but the curtains are drawn. The sheets are sinfully soft, yes, but this bed smells of something familiar— something male in nature.
A dark flush raises to her cheeks when she realises where she is by the smell alone.
