people need to remember that eddie’s actor has been vocal about buddie since the beginning, named the ship, and as of today is still saying that he would be up for it if the writing took them there. he is not a scapegoat for people to use as a reason for why buddie might not happen, he is not homoph***c and is clearly fine with it. he’s also played queer roles in the past
Literally, this isn't a SPN situation where the ship was hated and made fun of. It's the writers people should be going after, not the actors.
They way whoever plays tommy said about it was maybe gonna be with Eddie instead but it fell through. That makes me think whoever plays Eddie wouldn’t do it. Instead of scheduling conflicts with whoever played Natalia.
A interview with the actor came out after the episode where he discusess Eddie's sexuality and reading buddie fanfiction😅 so I doubt that.
Natalia was supposed to be a recurring character so I think they just switched storylines with Eddie and Buck. Now Eddie's going to break up with his girlfriend (probably in 7×07) which will start his new arc.
Lucy was supposed to be here instead of Tommy in the first place. Storylines and plans are always changing according to availability.
