MY FIRST BOOK IS OFFICIALLY OUT TODAY!!! It’s been a long time coming. Five years, to be exact. But after all this time, energy, and effort, it’s finally here. Things you should know:
- It is available in both kindle ebook and paperback formats. After three months (because that’s how Amazon’s rules work), I’ll be also publishing via B&N Nook and other potential formats.
- My intention was to lower the paperback price for the first day, since it couldn’t be preordered. However, I plan on using it as a fundraiser toward the end of the year, instead. The idea is to use the proceeds from one of the more successful months and give it to an LGBTQA+ charity of my choosing.
- Again, this is my first book ever published, and feedback is welcome with open arms, so long as it is constructive criticism. Transfigure is the first in a trilogy, and I want the entire story to fit the needs of the reader as well fulfilling its message.
Of course, you can’t decide if you’re interested in a book if you have no idea what it’s about:
“The apocalypse fell upon us centuries ago, and in this dark time, we now face a dilemma. The remaining population has begun to run dry. Amid crumbling peace treaties, a fragile reach of the government over its own nation, and the ever-present threat of the beasts lurking within our containment units; it has become difficult to know whether morality is a virtue worth keeping. As far as it has collapsed, the world can still end. Whether we send every militant to the front lines or retreat back into darkness, there will always be a way. No more earth, no more people. No more life other than those things behind the wall. But there is a solution. Within the southern sectors, you will find a trainee named Andromeda. She will be our redemption.”
TRANSFIGURE centers around a post-apocalyptic world with no real structure, governmental, societal, or otherwise. Its primary focus is on the fight between monster and human, while running with the idea that monsters are human. The first book clocks in at almost 113k words, putting the paperback at 326 pages. Maybe it’s horror, science fiction, dystopian. Call it whatever you like; I just hope it calls to you. KINDLE EBOOK / PAPERBACK
