BREAKING NEWS!
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
He hesitates, for a moment, before complying. The hug is almost robotic, and unnatural in state, but he's doing it at least. "...Thank you, again."
The arm wraps around him, and then the other arm also lets go of the wheelchair as he softly sighs. "I'm really sorry, for all of this, Todoroki-kun..." He whispers as the second arm also wraps around him, slowly...
And then he uses the knife he grabbed with it to try and slit Shoto's throat.
The ice acts up instantly, as he suddenly slides away, a wall of ice created between the two of them. He's stood there, eyes wide as day, not too far away, but far enough to see the knife. "You... you.. Why...? Tensei, i... didn't want to hurt you, i really didnt!" He sounds confused, his heart racing again. The shaking has returned, but its hard to now think of the advice someone who tried to kill him gave.
"Why? Isn't it obvious?" There's a humourless laugh from him. "I'm mafia, Shoto. After the whole incident with Stain... The hero world dropped me. The only thing I got was pity, because now? I would be worthless. But... The mafia... Izuku... They welcomed me with open arms."
"...They welcomed me too, but can't you see how wrong it is? To be a hero, you need conviction... what happened to yours?" He mutters, trying to remain calm. The ice is melting, slowly, as he ignites the air around him, honestly prepated for yet another fight, today.
"Despite my conviction, I got crippled for life. I got thrown to the side by everyone, like I am nothing but trash, like I was only worth something when I could actually save people. So, I did the same to them." He drops the knife, knowing he wouldn't stand a chance against Shoto like this. "What are you gonna do now?"
He sighs. "I don't know whether standing down will make you feel any better, but honestly, you're not trash. You're a survivor, and those who treat you otherwise... instead of making yourself real scum by joining a mafia, you could've proved yourself. You were so kind to me, only for a backstab? I don't entirely know whats going through your mind, but its wrong. Reporting you isnt in my best interest, not with my position, but, stay safe." Seems he has stood down, almost as if he's trying to change others, just as he was changed. Curious.
"... It's not like I wanted to stab you in the back. Sometimes things are necessary. How else do you think I know how heavy killing weighs on the mind? Even as a hero, I've needed to kill. The only reason this isn't common knowledge is my team working hard." He sighs, rubbing in his eyes. "And what do you think I tried to do at first? But alas, if proving myself doesn't work..." He helplessly shrugs.
The idea of a hero needing to kill seems to rest heavy on his shoulders. Though, without words, he turns his back on Tensei, a soft sigh exiting the half-and-half. It's not an act of pity, nor an insult, in fact...
It's a sign he still trusts Tensei not to hurt him.
He seems to register what to say. What could he even say... hm. Perhaps the truth would work. "Whatever you had to do to become a hero doesn't entirely matter to me. What matters is that you need to realise there's better ways to show yourself as greated than what people think. Before today, i'd have personally never looked down on you... but now, i don't think i could ever look up at you, again. So..." he begins walking away. He isn't looking back, but there's a limp in his step, blood on his shoulder, and a very tired attitude about him.
"So do the right thing. Not the mafia thing."
There's a heavy sigh as he watches Shoto walk away. Well, that went wrong. At the very least he isn't dead himself. With a bit of manoeuvring, he manages to pick up the knife from where he dropped it, turning the wheelchair away from the dorms. He gives one last glance back before he starts wheeling away.

BREAKING NEWS!
He's wheeling around, using his quirk in quick bursts to get around faster, until he finds someone he recognizes. "Oh, Todoroki-kun! Are you alright?" He skids to a stop right in front of him, showing just how well he is at handling the wheelchair he's in.
He looks down a little at Tensei, but its not at all condescending. If anything, there's a lightness about Shoto, for once. "I'm... alright. You seem to be handling yourself well, too."
"Ah, you... Learn to deal with it." He shrugs. "Are you hurt in any way? Did the mafia get to you?" He scans the young boy, to make sure he's not injured.
He seems to pale, a little. "No... I'm alright." The blackened soles of his shoes suggest there was maybe a fight or two, but he's perfectly fine. At least... he is, physically.
He relaxes a bit, but... "Are you really sure? You... Seem a bit pale." He frowns, leaning the slightest bit closer.
He tenses a little. "I'm alright, like i said, just... nervous. If my friends are truly against one another, its problematic, isn't it?"
"I suppose that's only fair... But I'm sure it'll be fine, Todoroki-kun! Don't worry!" He brightly smiles at Shoto.
He can't seem to smile back. Not after everything that has happened today... almost killing a friend, and his teacher, is honestly getting to him. "Yeah... it'll be fine."
"... Do you want to talk about whatever happened?" He is... A good and worried boy. "I'm always willing to listen..."
He slowly shakes his head. "I'd rather... move on and forget, personally."
He softly hums in understanding. "Fair enough, really... I understand what you mean..." He rubs his leg while talking, nor even noticing the action himself.
Considering he almost killed his friends? Yeah, he's... physically shaking now.
"It's alright, Todoroki-kun, just focus on your breathing. 3 in... 4 out... 5 in... 6 out..."
Shoto begins following the advice, to slowly begin calming down. "I just... I almost killed someone today..." he says this as if he didn't actually torch a whole crowd to death, but in his eyes, they didn't matter. He didn't know them...
"... That's always heavy on the mind and heart." Sounds like he's got experience... Strange. "It's gonna be tough, but I'm sure you'll be fine."
He nods, slowly. "I... feel fine. But my body says otherwise, i... don't understand it."
"Maybe a nap would help you?" He carefully suggests.
"...A nap actually sounds rather nice..." he mutters, beneath his breath.
"Come on, let's get you back to your dorms, then. I'll make sure you won't get hurt."
"...Thank you, honestly... Rest seems to be the best idea, i just don't want anyone else getting hurt." He adds, morality somewhat returning to the boy.
He gently smiles. "Come on, then." He starts moving in the direction of the dorms.
He follows, softly sighing. "Right..."
"If... You don't ever want to talk about it, that's fine, but... Remember that there are always people willing to help, please. "
He seems to take it in, but isn't accepting that as truth. "..I understand. But i'll be alright, i... i hope."
"If you want to, I can give you my number...?"
He hums, as if to say yes, but not actually wanting to say so. He's panicking... and its getting harder not to show that.
He pauses his wheeling to hold a hand in Shoto's direction. "If you I've me your phone, I can put it in."
He slowly hands his phone over, taking it out his pocket, calmly.
He adds himself as contact quickly and gives the phone back. "There you go. If you ever wanna talk to me, just call or send a text!"
He takes the phone. "Thank you... I... I'll think about it, i really will." Its likely he will message, but right now, he is worried about his own safety.
"Aaaand here are the dorms!" He does a stupid little trick on his wheelchair, hoping to distract Shoto from any bad thoughts he might have.
It at least makes him crack a smile. "...You... you'll make sure you stay safe, too, right?"
He softly laughs. "Don't worry about me! Even in a wheelchair, I'm still good enough at what I do to avoid getting hurt."
"I still worry. This place... has become dangerous." He looks down at himself, saying this, and more than anything else, he does believe he is dangerous.
He looks at him for a bit before he lets go of the wheelchair with one arm, sticking it out toward Shoto. "Come give me a hug."

He hums, as if to say yes, but not actually wanting to say so. He's panicking... and its getting harder not to show that.
He pauses his wheeling to hold a hand in Shoto's direction. "If you I've me your phone, I can put it in."
IT BEGINS, AGAIN, THE GREAT AND MIGHTY MAFIA AU!
However, things seem to have turned for the worst.
But i'll be alright, i... i hope."
