In the Temple of Love

Feng Xin and Mu Qing meet during the reopening of Pei Ming’s club. They are drawn to each other from the first moment, perfectly complementing each other in their needs and wants. Whilst Feng Xin craves submission and pain, Mu Qing is a dominant sadist, averse to any sort of touch. They are a match made in heaven as Pei Ming would say, but it still takes over a year to figure things out. Once they do, there’s no turning back, and they decide to add Pei Ming to their relationship after a while. Mu Qing is still hands off with his two subs—until one night, he isn’t anymore.

Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?

Not once have I ever looked at sth like this. Ever. Also the phrasing "good enough to read" ... i'm..

I'm a fuck around and find out reader. Either I like it or not.

I go by recs from friends, stuff sb brings on my dash/timeline and I like the concept. I often exclude G and T. Sometimes, I sort pairings and/or tags, sometimes I just do exclusion search. Most often I only read the title and summary and don't even look at the tags at all bc i am all in for a surprise.

Amount of Kudos? Stats? Ratio? Be gone thot.

this may not be intentional by the author, but nf's name 南风 (nán fēng) is pronounced the same as 男风 (nán fēng) which means "male homosexuality" lol

nf's name is written with the character for "south" and "wind" while the other one is written with the character for "man" and "wind"

it's very obvious why fx would choose these characters for a fake name at the last minute, but in boys' names, 南 (south) is often used instead of 男 (man) because it sounds the same but has a softer meaning than just putting MAN in the name lol
