Interesting tidbit, they scripted for the player to be able to walk through the plains area outside the town gate to the Chaos Shrine.

Interesting tidbit 2, there could have been some cool Environmental Storytelling with some old and newer Shrine Keys lying around on the ground outside the Shrine… don’t recall that in the game.

the sad truth to FFXVI apologia is that whenever someone starts going off about how deep and expressive the combat is you can torpedo their entire point simply by asking them to post a clip recorded in actual gameplay rather than training mode

#number of fights where i had Actual Fun and the combat had any amount of weight: 1 (kupka/titan fight in rosalith)#it'd be one thing if it were clunky from having too many elements or something but there just isn't anything. There.#and the “spectacle” talk. i already played god of war (2005) thanks
