Another shounen has ended and it repeated stereotypical shitty pattern that almost all of them seem to follow nowadays. I’m talking about Nanatsu no Taizai and its disgustingly forced pairings that concluded the manga. It’s not a secret that even among its fans NnT has been considered laughably bad plot-wise for quite a long time already. Approximately since the end of the first big arc, where Hendrickson was the main villain, NnT has taken a nosedive. There were constant ‘sudden’ plot twists that became cheap and repetitive very soon. Those so-called twists turned into a dull routine - disgusting mary sue Meliodas or his comrades were ‘killed’, but not really. There were numerous ‘miraculous’ revivals and soon it started to look ludicrous. Plot shield for the main group was boosted to the maximum, convenient new powers appeared out of nowhere right and left. It became impossible to take this crap seriously and believe in any danger for the characters.

Still, some characters shouldn’t been revived, it ruined the whole inner logic even for this shitty manga. But the author made a tremendous asspulls to bring back even them. Or course I’m talking about jealous whore Elaine in the first place. If this annoying little bitch stayed dead it would have improved even this poorly written plot a little. Ban should have moved on already. But no, the author chose the most cheesy and primitive happy love story for them. It was so shallow and artificial. The whole ‘drama’ when Ban allegedly suffered that she died immediately became pointless. What’s more, their pairing is disgusting pedo bait. Ban is revolting pedo, and all their shippers too. It was disturbing to even look at them together when she is like ten times smaller than him. It’s plain hentai material with zero artistic value.

Actually, the whole manga turned into soppy and superficial romance crap after the first arc. And that was the cheapest and cringiest romance I’ve seen. Almost every male character was forced into revolting het ship like if NnT was a crappy shojo manga. Pairings with slutty princess sisters of Elizabeth were especially disgusting. Those horny whores better die in pain along with their shitty father, they have zero value for the plot anyway. And of course retarded mangaka doesn’t even notice that those numerous ships looked dumb and out of place.

All further battles and adventures turned into competition between Ban and Meliodas for saving their retarded bitches. It was painful to look at. The romance shit was forcefully shoved into story and the battles were hard to take seriously already, because mary sue MC and his friends were unkillable. But when they started to act lovey-dovey with their bitches literally in the middle of fights it became retarded circus.

Pairing of Meliodas and Elizabeth was no less forced and tatty. But it’s also pretty toxic and abusive. Elizabeth was clearly created only as a cheap and primitive fantasy for wankers who want a submissive chick for themselves. She allows Meliodas to sexually harass her constantly and that’s a dream come true for all self-inserting perverts. Horny scum Meliodas was blatantly harassing her, he was acting like a rapist, and she only blushed and screamed. As if that was supposed to be something cute. She always reacted disturbingly meek for his forceful behavior, to the point when she became just a spineless puppet who can be touched and used however you want. Exactly what wankers want from their docile waifu. It’s nauseatingly how literally forced (on Elizabeth and on the plot) and perverted this pairing is. It’s not healthy relationship in any way, and Elizabeth was just a tool created only for fap.

The ending was already ruined with those revolting pairings, but the author just had to shove Boruto-style continuation with kids into it. Again, all authors writing on some retarded cliche pattern, it’s like even a little originality is punishable in shounen manga industry. Really pathetic. The ugly kids weren’t needed for the plot which turned into joke anyway at this point. It’s pure marketing ploy to tie this shit with next manga and to lure readers into it. But after all this crap I doubt that many will support mangaka’s next work. He should be kicked out of the magazine or better die. His endless garbage sequels are not needed.

Warnings: Angst, mentions of assault and being attacked. The Iida one is super angsty so I’m sorry.

Bakugo Katsuki x Reader

You and Bakugo met after one of his trips to the infirmary. You were working with recovery girl as a part of your training and she had warned you about Bakugo’s temper but nothing would prepare you for the real thing.
He actually thought you were really pretty and kept blushing while you were checking his vitals. To cover up his embarrassment, he kept making sly remarks and sassing off, that’s when you snapped at him.
“Listen asshole, I’m literally controlling your blood right now, so I suggest you keep your mouth shut.”
Now he was head over heels.
You knew that in order to survive, you should learn some self-defense and asked Bakugo to help you. This began an interesting, flirty friendship.
Once the two of you started dating it was great, he was protective and sweet to you, showing you a much softer side of himself that no one else knew about.

The accident

It was Bakugo who had found you. You were on your way back to the dorms after leaving to go to the store when you were attacked. They came from behind and began walking backward into an alley.
You sent Bakugo your location and he knew you were in trouble, he’d never moved so fast in his life.
When he arrived, he found you, sitting on your knees with blood coating you head to toe. You looked up at him with tears streaming down your face and he stood in horror.
Bakugo had no idea what to do so, he called Aizawa, saying you’d been attacked and were okay but your quirk was out of control.
The only words you could form were “I’m sorry” and “I had to, I had no choice.”
When they were finally able to get the story out of you, the villain had put a knife to your throat, forcing you backward before throwing you in a waiting van and beginning to unzip his pants. You made him walk backward by using your quirk but he was stronger than it and soon had his hands around your throat.
With little air remaining in your lungs, trying to move his fingers from around your throat, you closed your eyes and pushed as hard as you could with your quirk.
When you opened your eyes, he’d exploded all over you and the alleyway.

After

Bakugo held your crying form in his arms every night as nightmares tore through your mind, reenacting the event over and over again. He repeatedly assured you that it wasn’t your fault and you did what you had to but the guilt was knawing at you.
Of course, there were bystanders, agreed you had no choice, but others said it revealed your true behavior.
Your image was blown all over the internet and some of your classmates wouldn’t even meet your eyes but Bakugo was there for you every step of the way.
The school board had to have a meeting and Bakugo fought to go with you, and so they let them.
Most teachers agreed that you had lost control of your quirk amongst the panic and it was not your fault in any way shape or form but the second someone disagreed Bakugo was the first to respond.
He slammed his fist on the table and said “You guys realize that y/n, a top student going into a medical field, who comes to the 1A dorms after school to help anyone who was injured after training went through a traumatic experience right? Hell, I’ve done worse and you’re worried because their quirk because it’s ‘villainous’? Get your heads out of your asses and worry about the safety of your students.
The room went silent and Aizawa simply agreed and pulled the two of you out of the meeting. “I’ve got it, everything will be okay y/n.”
In the end, security footage was released, a statement was put out and your public image was saved but you still struggled with the trauma.

Tenya Iida x reader

You weren’t the best student, you weren’t the smartest, you goofed off religiously but of course, that’s the person good boy Iida would find himself liking.
It started with him offering to tutor you. you could sense the tension and tried to flirt with him but that just ended up with him blushing and refusing to meet your eyes.
Then you kissed him on the cheek when you left his dorm room. That’s when he blurted out, “Y/N, please allow me to take you out on a date, if not that’s fine and I’m sorry, I just really like you.”
After that, he would help you study and still scold you for doing dumb things but still found himself charmed.
His parents were less than pleased, they thought he could do better and he worried that he should be focusing more on his school work but every time you were with him he just found himself relaxed and happy.

The accident

You and Iida were coming back from a coffee shop when a low life criminal began causing a scene.
Iida, of course, stepped forward, trying to face the villain himself.
While Iida was lecturing them on how they could be doing so much better in life, the villain moved to grab you.
Now you were in the arms of the villain as his wild eyes looked teasingly at Iida. While you stood, you felt something attach itself to the base of your neck.
You tried using your quirk to move him away from you as if he were a puppet on strings, but you felt weak and tired.
Your eyes were beginning to droop when you heard a strangled cry from Iida. He was being pinned down, but the villain was too strong.
Using the rest of the energy, you used your quirk to its full extent, the villain’s arms, legs and head flying off in various directions.
When you were dropped to the ground, the weird limb detached itself from the base of your neck and you passed out.

After

You woke up in a hospital bed, you only had minor injuries but were being kept under supervision after what happened, being kept there for a week.
Your first visitor was All Might and your friends, then your own teacher and family, then the cops.
You gave them the full story and they agreed that you’d gone a little overboard but given the circumstances, it was the only viable option.
After your friends visited for a second time, you asked them where Iida was. You’d been assured that he was okay and suffered no injuries but he still hadn’t come to see you.
They assured you they’d tell him to come so you sat waiting patiently.
It took another day, the last before you left before he came.
“Hey sweetie, are you okay?” You asked when he walked in, reaching your arm out to him but dropping it as he looked away. “What’s wrong?”
“Y/n, I just- I think we need to break up.” As he spoke, you saw zero emotion in his face and it worried you.
“Tenya, you can’t be serious, why would we break up?” You were too surprised to cry, but your chest felt ungodly heavy.
“Y/n, you’re reckless and impulsive. We just aren’t right for each other. I’m sorry If this upsets you but it’s the decision I’ve made.” Iida moved to walk out of the room but stopped when you asked him to wait.
“Is this about what happened? Tenya I had no choice, we were going to die!”
“I had it under control y/n! You aren’t a hero so stop trying to act like one. You went far too far and I can’t be with someone who’s able to act so much like a villain herself.” Iida’s words stung as they were said, every single one burying itself in your mind as you thought back to what happened.
“I’m not trying to be a hero, I was having all of my energy drained and you were pinned down to the point where you couldn’t fight. I did what I had to, not just for me but for you too. You need to stop acting so high and mighty all the time. Besides Iida, I’m not the one who sought out revenge and tried to purposefully kill someone.” At this, you paused and took a breath, “I respect your decision, but I deserve better. Now if you will the door is right behind you.”
Iida’s eyes went wide at the mention of his scuffle with Stain and he realized that he may have stepped too far, “Y/n wait I-”
“Out.”

Todoroki x reader

The two of you had grown up together, you being around because of your friendship with his older sister Fuyumi. When you two found out you were attending U.A. at the same time, you became a lot closer.
You two didn’t get together until your third year, but when you did you realized just how much you’d missed.
Todoroki adored you, he felt forever indebted to you because you had been there for him since he was a child even standing up to his own father for him at 7. You’d helped him cope with everything he went through and he loved you endlessly for it.

The accident

You had been out with Fuyumi, doing some shopping and overall just catching up.
On your way back, while walking through a busy part of the city you felt as if someone were following it. You thought you were just being paranoid so you continued walking to the school’s gates.
When you were only a few blocks away, with a group of men definitely following you, you called Todoroki.
“Hey Babe, I’m just calling to say I’m almost at the school’s gates!” You said brightly, making sure the men behind you heard hoping you weren’t raising any suspicions. “I’m being followed by three men right now,” you whispered into the receiver and then continued talking loudly as if nothing were happening.
On the other side of the call, Todoroki was staying on the call with you talking and worrying terribly. “Do you need me to come get you?” He asked. “No silly! I told you I already bought that!” Came your response, covering the actual conversation you were having.
Then the line went silent. “Y/n?” Todoroki called, being met with only silence.
He pulled up your phone’s location and took off in the direction, his feet flying behind him.
On your side, the three men had taken your left turn as an opportunity to attack. Two held you as the third stood in front of you and held a picture up next to your face. “Yep this is the one, Todoroki’s pretty little girlfriend, I can see why he likes you peaches.” He said while grabbing your cheeks and squishing them between his thumb and forefinger.
“What do you want with me?” You spat, kicking at the men who held you.
“We was just sent to ‘nap you kid, all I know is the boss wants you to get closer to your pretty little boyfriend.”
You began using your quirk, the men who were holding you being forced to drop you. You started to crawl away from them and as you were going to stand up, the man who’d been speaking to you before grabbed the bak of your neck and slammed your face into the concrete.
blood was pouring from your forehead and blocking your vision. You once again used your quirk to manipulate the man so he no longer had his hold on you, but every time you got one attacker off, another was on you.
One twisted your arm around so it was pressed against you back, sending a sharp pain through it while he pinned your other arm with his knee. The other two were wiping blood from themselves and you saw one begin to hold a cloth towards your face.
You didn’t have time to individually control each person so you did the only thing you could, you forced the man on top of you to draw his gun.
He held it, pointed towards his teammates and fired, two clean shots straight to the head before shooting himself.
You rolled from under his body and paused, you hadn’t forced him to shoot, only to aim the weapon.
When Todoroki found you, you were limping towards him, your face bleeding and your hair and back matted with blood. He sprinted towards you and held you as close as he could, looking around frantically before you whispered in his ear, “they’re dead.”

After

When you explained everything to Todoroki, he held you and repeatedly apologized for the position you’d been put in. He called his father to tell him that their family was being targeted than started a shower for you.
When the school was alerted, they took your statement and found your phone which had stayed on the call up until the second Todoroki found you.
In it, they could hear you crying, screaming that you didn’t do it and even trying to resuscitate them.
The school but you and Todoroki under supervision, and excused you from classes for a week.
The event scared you and you kept waking in the middle of the night crying. You felt like it was your fault and instead of you consoling Todoroki, he was doing the same to you.

oh and i HATE patronizing posts from middle-class people about how grocery store workers are heroes. they’re not doing this for you or the country. they’re doing this because they need money. “New Yorkers Planning 2-Minute Clap For Essential Workers On Friday” fuck off. grocery store workers don’t need you to clap for them. they need to be able to make the choice of whether or not they want to be on the frontlines of this thing without having to risk homelessness or starvation. they need to be fairly compensated for the risk they’re taking and an extra two dollars an hour, or for increased wages to only kick in if they opt to do overtime isn’t enough. like, grocery store workers and other “essential” retail workers should be appreciated but that appreciation needs to be TANGIBLE. and working right now should be voluntary. when well-off people make posts about how grocery store workers are heroes, it just comes across that they’re grateful there are still people around to wait on them and they’re purposefully overlooking the fact that the “sacrifice” essential retail workers are making is coerced.

They shouldn’t need to pay for food, books, a laptop, anything that the school gives you. If a child has to pay in any way to attend school, it’s a failure of our government to provide proper funding
