stay productive!

Hi! I haven’t posted anything in a while (again). Starting uni is quite an overwhelming process! The weather has been absolutely awful for the last couple of weeks and as it’s already October so I don’t expect it to get better (winters in russia (near the ural mountains at least) usually start in late october-november). Actually, I’m really excited for winter this year (idk why though, I always hated this time of the year). Oh, and I’m craving some apple pie right now (can’t wait to go home tomorrow and make one with my mom)

17.10.20// I wish I would have visited a few more places while I was in England. There was definitely no shortage of coffee shop visits but a few more day trips would have been great!

Something we often forget in academics. I know there is the standard 3 years for a bachelors, 2 years for a masters degree (at least where I study). But take your time, explore different interests, take care of your mental health and friends and family. Noone cares if it takes you a few Semesters longer to get where you want to be. But I care about you getting there feeling good about yourself and being healthy. So go at your own pace.

nov 11 2020: 2/100 days of productivity

What my morning has been looking like. Starting to feel unprepared for this exam ahhh. 

week three with my passion planner!! i think i’ve finally discovered my preferred planning method and personal style! this week, i mixed journaling with the minimalist format i used last week. i absolutely loved using my planner this way because i was able to keep my tasks in order, and at the end of the day, i was able to journal my thoughts in any unused lines. this also helped me with weekly reflection!

Study hour: 5H45M

I am going to stop taking notes now. It is taking a long time to take notes, especially for me as I like to take time to make it pretty. Instead of taking notes, I started to just try to read and understand the lecture notes, close the book and try to write everything from memory on a blank paper. Other than that, explaining the topic to my family without looking at the textbook really helps as well.
