geneticist thinks i may have hypermobile ehlers danlos . i may need surgery on my wrist , might depend on how it heals or what . i’m almost done with my thesis . i’m writing phd apps . i submitted my first one two nights ago . someone ran a stop sign and totaled my car . my uncle was generous enough to give me the one he had inherited . my adviser thinks my thesis could be publishable at some point . i’ll be back , im just having a wild life !
welcome to EDS , i dislocated my wrist , ruptured the cartilage , need surgery , and the neuropathy in that wrist is worse than ever so grad school is a nightmare but i’m almost done !!!! at least until i apply for my phd in the coming weeks . :’3

so, i’m working on my thesis, i have classes, trying to study,,,
i’m being tested for connective tissue disorders, i need my circulatory system checked for crap you get with those, i’m seeing an occupational therapist (which is already a killer), and i found out yesterday i have an antibody you get usually with autoimmune hepatitis, so i need my liver checked asap.
so i’m really not feeling great in general physically or mentally. writing has basically been the last thing on my mind. i’m having a terrible time slogging through everything, and a bit upset, so i’m not willfully neglecting anyone. if you read this, i love you and hope you’re having a good day / night / etc. <3
GREN KNOWS HE GOT WHAT HE DESERVED WHEN BEOWULF , WELL , WRECKED HIM . no , he doesn’t think he’s misunderstood or anything like that . doesn’t think he didn’t deserve it . beowulf upheld and did exactly what he would have done : got revenge . he used to hate humans , actually , for casting creatures like him away . for making monsters of them when they , once , it is said , made great warriors . he resented human war , resented the senselessness of it , the loss of resources , the treatment of women as bargaining chips . but , yeah , MAYBE barging into heorot was a little too much ! but he knows that now and does actively try to be a bit better . not a lawful good by any means , no , but sometimes he tries .
