Hi! How do I tell if someone's gay, lesbian, bi, ace, etc?

Avatar

you can’t tell just by looking at people. you ask them politely and respect their choice whether to answer

I identify as nb.. but I like when my partner calls me princess.. I feel like this is wrong? Am I taking away from the people who identify as nb? I just feel lost now..

everyone has their own personal preferences and that’s okay, as long as you don’t assume others have the same preferences and you respect their boundaries

Hiiii~ I think I'm a panromantic asexual but I have a question for you: what is the difference between bi- and pan-?

Bi is typically defined as an attraction to two or more genders, or an attraction the same gender and different genders. Not everyone agrees on the definition, but those are common ways people describe what the label means to them.

Pan is defined as being attracted to all/any genders.

I feel really stupid for asking this but what does the i and a mean in LGBTQIA+? And what do they mean?

I = intersex

A = asexual, aromantic

Do you know how to ask a girl out? I'm a biromantic asexual, and I'm really nervous about how to ask someone out? (This isn't for right now cause my parents won't let me date right now, boy or girl) Do you have any advice?

My advice would be to just be honest, genuine, and kind. If you’re interested in a girl, start off small and ask if she’d like to go out for lunch or something. Just be yourself and don’t worry about it too much. Just take a deep breath, relax, and say how you feel :)
