The Insurgent King

Tonight, I posted the first short of a AU series for FFXV that I've called The Insurgent King.

This takes place in a version of Insomnia that did not get destroyed during the Imperial attack that was seen in Kingsglaive. Instead, it was somehow taken over without any bloodshed. (I do have plans to tell how that happened in one of the shorts!)

I kind of want to do this in an episodic series of short stories, rather than one long continuous story, like dal segno al coda.

These stories will take place featuring an older Noctis, as it has been almost a decade since the death of King Regis. He's running his own mafia-like operation to undermine Niflheim's authority enough so that he can one day make a push on the throne to take back his kingdom.

Other players are involved, of course. The prophecy has been thrown completely off track and they are either completely enjoying it (hi ardyn) or scrambling to try and find a way to recover it. (hi astrals).
