A year ago today, mod Shadow was inspired by a Conker stream to make an AU/rewrite of Conker’s Bad Fur Day on the blog @conkerrewritten​ 

Not too much time later, mod Polar wanted to do the same for Banjo-Kazooie. Putting our minds together, we came up with Rairverse. And what a fun time that’s been! 

It’s hard to believe a whole year has passed since we started on this project. We’ve come up with so many concepts and so much lore, it’s been hard to keep it to ourselves! Maybe that will change soon.

Conker’s dad, Candle. 

He’s a red squirrel who’s a librarian. He loves reading and wants to write his own books and keep them at the library. 

He can’t see very well without his glasses, but under the glasses he has little eyelashes. He’s also 3 feet tall just like his son.

He loves his wife and son so much it makes him emotional sometimes.

Doodles!

Anyone remember the scratch out art from childhood? I remember I used to draw flowers with those. Anyway, I replicated it the best I could in Paint Tool SAI and doodled some head shots! Not all of these characters have been revealed yet, so consider this a sneak peek! -mod Shadow

I recognize you, you’re from Twelve Tales!

How interesting that they were going to be in Bad Fur Day too!

Their spawn location is random in this map, spawning up on the ledge or on the muddy ground below.

They despawn randomly as well, it’s hard to get good views of them. They pop out of sight very quickly, and those who stay eventually fly through the wall and disappear forever.

You can see the silhouette of one at the bottom middle of the screenshot, they spawned down on the mud. 

It seems they were supposed to be anywhere that you can hear crows cawing.

They were found in the demo, but their textures remain in the final game.

Capturing video of them would be very hard due to their spawn rate, but we might try in the future!
