Need a brief scream into the void. Everything the government does right now screams their privilege from top to bottom. Imposing fines disproportionately affects lower income households; who are already less likely to have any outdoor space in their homes and are being told to bite the bullet and go back to work. Allowing cleaners and childminders to start work when we're not able to visit families screams of their position, of being able to afford cleaners in their own home and personal childcare. Reopening business without publishing guidelines just shows how much they're putting profit before people. It's disgusting and frankly they need to piss off. I've been so impressed by the response of the research and healthcare community but they still need leadership for testing and tracing to actually manage the spread, but no, weve got a straw headed incompetent gibbon running things who's only working part fucking time while his own father and special advisor break lockdown rules. Fuck off. Just fuck off. You're not even trying to hide by that you care more about profit than people. And that's fucking counterintuitive as it is, how do you make profit without people? Just fuck off, get your messaging sorted, come up with an actual plan and infrastructure and then come back to it. This is a difficult situation to manage but you had the benefit of hindsight ahead of time because the vast amount of Europe is weeks ahead. Theres no reason for 30000 deaths, besides criminal levels of negligence. And now they're lining up the public and science community to take the fall because they're fucking cowards.
