Nyarr, let me introduce me new companion for this adventure!!!
First up, we have Summer! She doesn’t speak much and smells like nitroshroom and gunpowder but I’m sure past that intimidating, mysterious, pyromaniac outside, there’s a sweet, kind inside... I hope...
And secondly we have Sparagus, a nargacuga obsessed furball from Moga... although he does insist on being called Shinobi saying “I’m not actually a farmer, I’m a ninja!”... Next thing you know, he’s gonna say that Neko means Tiger, nya!
They were the only two who signed up, but I guess beggars can’t be choosers!
I need to do a touch more research on where the map is showing us, but then we shall set sails for the seas of adventure!!! Nyarr!!!
It’s been a tough while searching for crew mates, nya, and I now have a grand total of two companions! What a huge number!
Yeah... not very promising, but time is running out and I want to get going!
The two felynes that have decided to join me on my quest are a local gal called Summer, a bomb enthusiast (she doesn’t speak much) and some fur-brain from Moga village, Sparagus, who insists on being called “Shinobi”... He would look the part in his full Nargacuga gear if it weren’t for the fact he was lime green, nya... Anyway, I’ll properly introduce them tomorrow!

Many, many years ago, when monster hunting was in its infancy, a caped human held aloft a staff of of fire! This staff, named the “Burning Stave”, had the uncanny power to control Felynes. With it this champion smote many a foul beast! Nothing stood in their way, nya!
I seek this staff for personal reasons, not for wealth. I figure that if I hold this relic in me claws, then I can gather a crew and destroy the beast which took my friend. It is selfish, but it is my ultimate goal.
It all be rumours, anyway... I still have to prepare and gather a search party, not to mention find the exact position of the treasure! It’ll be a while before I find the truth, nya?
Nyaar, Val Habar is where I’m currently at so the surf isn’t very good... It’s just desert from here to Loc Lac. It picks up a bit when Jhen Mohran or Dah’ren Mohran arrive, but then it’s way too dangerous and they batten down the hatches, so you can’t really do anything...
Urgh, sand between me paws now, nya... I really hate that feeling!
Nya-harr! Sorry for the absence fellow hunters!!! I’ve been looking fur an old, old map to lead me to treasure and I’ve finally found it, nya! I recognise the layout of the land here, but I’m not too sure, some research will have to be done (Ugh... Books are worse than hairballs!).
Once I find out where this is, I’ll have to gather a crew and supplies and then I can set out fur the turreasure!!! Nya-har, I’ll be rich!
Nyaar, I don’t think I have met any fameows hunters besides myself, nya... Although, ever since arriving at Val Habar I’ve been seeing posters for this hunter. He goes by the name of “Haydn” and has very authoritative eyebrows, nya... I’d snuggle up and sleep in those bushy beauties!!!
After asking around about this hunter, he’s starting to remind me of my old hunting pawtener; I think I’ll keep a sharp eye on him and tell you all when he’s hunting! If you think he’s good, he may be rather suitable for my crew...

A long while ago, before I became a Pirate, me and me hunter were out on a High Rank Ketcha Watcha hunt. It was so-so, nothing too scary, until out of the blue, my hunter was hit by a huge boulder! It hit him in the back, sending him off the edge of a cliff! I was terrified, I didn’t know what to do without him!
I turned and saw the most humongous beast I’ve ever come across... Eyes burning with the fires of hell, Stygian lightening crackled at its gaping maw. I fought to escape, but I lost an eye, and my closest friend, in the process...
I don’t really remember what the beast looked like, but that’s why I became a pirate, to travel the world, searching for that fiend, Nya!
Nyaar? Trouble with sea beasties? Nay, I've had no trouble with monsters 'sides the occasional Sharq attaq, nya. I have seen many-a Lagiacrus and Ludroth on the horizon, but they're obviously too scared to mess with the fursome pirate I be! Nya-har!!!
I do sometimes wonder how close I have come to some of them though...
