So the "food" that the US dropped to Gaza is MREs. Expired. Saw a stitch of this video from a woman saying this is the same thing they did with Hurricane Katrina survivors.

MREs are shelf stable for 7 years. Total. These ones were over 15 years old.

And ofc there were people in the comments being like "ummm well our military eats them just fine, they were expired when I was in the army too" THATS NOT OKAY THO?? NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO EAT EXPIRED FOOD!

Fuck the US, fuck the Israeli government, and fuck you if you think that this is any kind of help to the people of Gaza. They're starving to death and the US is sending expired applesauce while also giving bombs to their murderers.

Scammer pretending to be in Palestine v2

Currently there is a scammer posing as either a person in Palestine, having a family in Palestine, or is an orphan/an orphan with kids in Palestine. I have another post where I’ve been documenting this scammer but I’m redoing it here since recent updates are hard to be seen. Every account that will be listed here are scammers. Please make sure that if you see this as a reblogged post, please check the original to see if it’s been updated since. This scammer will send you hate asks if you call them out and they have been doing this since the start of February. Here is my original post.

The most common thing is that their blog is usually only a week old at best and commonly is taking their posts from a real fundraiser. Please do not give money to this scammer. Please note that they send asks to anyone who interacts with trending posts or tags and will promise to you that they’re legitimate but will refuse to answer any questions to prove they’re legit. If they do happen to send you a DM, please see if they’ll give you a direct link to their PayPal-me which would make it easy to figure out which country they’re actually located in.

Please keep in mind all their info is generally stolen off a real Palestine fundraiser and a quick Google search of the text should lead you to the general location of it. Also please alert anyone who’s shared any of their posts and inform them of the scam by linking them to my posts.

In light of a recent string of reblogs for my 10+ year old Stand Still Stay Silent (by Minna Sundberg) posts, I wish to make a public statement:

I, Augustine, no longer supports or consumes content by Minna Sundberg, including her comic 'Stand Still Stay Silent'. This is due to certain racist overtones in the work, a total lack of people of colour in the depiction of countries with large ethnic minorities from the Middle East and Africa, as well as comments made by the author herself. I also pledge that in every book I ever write, I will place one character of colour (though I promise there will be MANY), specifically in (dis)honour of Minna Sundberg, to offset her total lack of representation of anyone non-nordic in her works. #denmark and yes#it's a mandatory class in public school for all students#we get driven to the nearest swimming pool and taught how to swim#towards the end of the course we get tossed into the deep water fully dressed#just so we can learn how to handle taking heavy waterlogged clothes off underwater#and let me tell you jeans get real heavy real fast#course lasts about a year and if you dont pass get ready to redo it for a whole extra year
