I read all Captive Prince in 2018 (2017?), re-read it last year and I'm finally posting my first public "fanart" that is actually not what I planned to do (there's a scene in book 2 that is just *chef kiss* cant wait to be able to draw it) Both are heavily referenced from those nice doodle-bases and poses easily found on pinterest from korean twitter accounts 👌✨ (and both are from events after the main story is concluded, esp the first one "woken up from a nightmare", but not necessarily correlated) (Please read this saga only if you're 18+, and look up online for trigger warnings cause there is some heavy stuff in this story)

"You beast." I did this Captive Prince sketch a long time ago ! But I lined it on Procreate last week at the convention and I coloured it and... I'm so happy with the result ! It's probably from the beginning of their relationship, where Damen could have killed Laurent asap haha !

I’ll never forget the moment Laurent went from “cast iron bitch” to “having the time of his life cosplaying at a fucking brothel and bounding over rooftops and hiding out on ledges with his face so close to his sworn enemy’s they could’ve kissed” and that’s something I wish I could read the first time all over again 🥲

Damen will memorize love poems, passages from books, confessions from movies and the like to serenade Laurent with at random times. Bonus points if he can get Laurent to stutter or blush or need a minute to reply, but mostly he's just so god damn earnest about it

Laurent takes it upon himself to try and guess what Damen is quoting or where he got it from - mostly cause that's a game he wins even when he loses

I just love the idea of Laurent being overprotective over his giant, built like a brick shithouse husband.
