This will probably come back to bite me but the fandom seems to be leaning into "Chester and Norris are Jon and Martin trapped in the computer system" pretty hard already and I'm not convinced? I mean I like that theory and think it's possible, but I also think it's probably something subtler - something using their voices, maybe, or an echo of Jon and Martin existing in this alternate world, or a tiny bit of them that splintered off - I'm inclined to believe Jon and Martin don't exist as people anywhere, and instead there are tiny pieces of them, echoes, throughout time and space. Tmagp universe just has a vague memory of their voices and the fears that were so inextricably bound up with them when they were whole.
