The shapeshifters are fascinating from a character standpoint.
Perception of Laios:
- Everyone has an exaggerated and flattened view of Laios, emphasizing his worst qualities.
- They're at least somewhat aware of this fact, and their versions of Laios are completely incompatible.
Laios's perception of others:
- He misses the details but has a better understanding of the other party members than they do of him.
- His version of Marcille is the most accurate.
- It's highly affected by recent events and idealized (the real Marcille is more careless than fake)
- He's the only one capable of self-crit on the level to recognize his own flawed perspective
Perception of Marcille:
- Nobody understands how her hair works.
- Everyone knows it's important
Marcille's perception of others:
- No understanding of other people's methods and tools due to hyperfocus on magic
- Everyone is slightly exaggerated (Laios, more so, due to contrast with Falin)
Perception of Chilchuck:
- Laios is the only one who really understands that Chilchuck is an adult
Chilchuck's perception of others:
- Thinks everyone is a reckless idiot
Perceptions of Senshi
- Everyone has a pretty good grasp on him as a character, even if some aspects are exaggerated or flattened out
Senshi's perception of others:
- A lot more racist than he lets on
