101 Dalmatian Street Cancelled At Disney: “No Current Plans For Second Season” According To  Miklos Weigert

Last week it was the International Animation Festival at Annecy besides getting more info on the limbo series Vikingskool with new artwork, upcoming comedies The Unstoppable Yellow Yeti and Hero 50/50 and announcements on Disney+’s  Kizazi Moto and Disney TVA’s Kiff where revealed

However the question for many fans of the Cadmen Town comedy series 101 Dalmatian Street was still a mistery since it’s season finale on  February 22, 2020, there where no news on a potential second season, during a time it was revealed that the series went trought renewal limbo, for a time Disney Branded Television mentioned that since the show wasn’t made by their divisions and was made by European Disney they didn’t knew and for them the show was cancelled here’s why the show hasn’t been promoted since it’s debut on Disney XD 

Sadly during that time i was put in contact with a spokeperson from Disney Channels Worldwide Europe and they said that the show was cancelled since 2020, the show did poorly on views on Disney+ and Disney XD USA airings have been low.

Later in the evening  Miklos Wright announced via Twitter that the show had no plans for a second season.

This news while saddening don’t come as surprising for fans of the series, the show had a troubled history of release, the show was originally going to go to Disney Channels in 2019 but due the sucess of Disney+ the show was moved there, also Disney+ USA had no interest in marketing the series and decided to dump it with no announcement, it was added by surprise on February 2020 on Disney+, merchandise of the series was Europe Exclusive with not intentions of making it Worldwide in Disney Stores.

Omg... the show they first exclusively released in Europe, then months after the conclusion of the first season in the States (either on a paywalled streaming service or a channel infamous for being where shows go to die; with no promotion on either btw) didnt do well in the US based on numbers?

Not like ALL the US fans and even people who'd hear about it had already used fansites to watch the entire content of the show months before Disney made ig officially avaiable for NA.... (and started gathering Data on it.)

Just shows how monumentally bad the people in charge of managing this process where.. probably the same who decided the show doesnt deserve an actual chance in the form of a second season that'd be run in the US on the main channel.

FFS, fans were streaming the channel to US friends so they could just WATCH the episodes when they were fresh

Desola’s Logs

Desola Dalmatian, Personal log #1 Staying with Aunt Delilah's family wasn't excactly my first choice when  mother suggested a change of scenery.. honestly speaking not even in the top 100. But she insisted I'd pay them a visit.. because family is important... I suppose I still own her for not kicking me out  when my experimental fuel almost burnt down the house..  or when our first human mistook one of my chemicals for an apetizer.. Or the damages experimenting with the strange crystal that... he... found...  *sign* Hopefully i will get to continue my work without interference..

Desola Dalmatian, Personal log #2 After what felt like an endless trip, I have arrived in London. Aunt Delilah welcomed me in before having to head to the hospital for an apparent emergency. While I doubt the negative feelings I have towards my little cousin, Dylan aren't mutual he did help me get situated.. unfortunately  alongside Dawkins.. my other little cousin.  Dolly and a few of the younger pups have shown some curiousity  when I unpacked but overall they leave me my privacy as I like it.

Desola Dalmatian, Personal log #3 It's been a few days and working in this mess of a place isn't easy.. while I still mostly retain some seclusion while working, two of the younger ones keep appearing asking me silly questions.. about my home.. my life.. my work.. as if they could understand it.. and the Dark one.. Dante, I believe he is called, keeps creeping around and I swear I can see him in the shadows from time to time.. While the rest seems to be listening to whatever stories Dylan has told them about me, I can still hear them.. playing around and pray to dog I'm doing something delicate when they use one of their... Trigger Words.... The house might have burned down a few times already if I wasn't experienced with this sort of work..

Desola Dalmatian, Personal log #4 Not much has changed since the last time I visited.. even then it was because mother forced me out of the house after the incident with our first human.. Sometimes I still wonder why we even keep these things as pets when most of them seem to have the IQ of a walnut, but I digress..  However..  some things that DID change since last time.. I swear there are EVEN More of them.  How Aunt Delilah could wish for this large of a family.. I'll never know.

Desola Dalmatian, Personal log #5 I miss Germany.. of course, England has it's benefits  but overall I wouldn't want to have to move here for good..  I shouldn't have agreed to take a vacation without a definitive end planned.. I'll have to await mother's call to return..  She means well and likely just wants to get my mind on different things but I am my own dog.. and this here.. certainly doesn't help..

Desola Dalmatian, Personal log #6 I do admit.. I miss him.. Every day I hope to receive a message.. not just to return home but to hear he is fine, despite better knowledge. If it wasn't for him some of my most recent work would likely never have happened..  and if he didn't find the crystal,  I would have never had the chance to work on it at all.. But past is past and it's time to look into the future.. while i know it won't help the situation.. I will continue my work.. I will bend this lump of material to my will. I will do it for my friend.

Species: Dalmatian

Verse: Both (old 90s 101 Show and 101 DS)

Personality: Interested in Sciences, but mostly the likes of Chemistry and Biology,not as a much into the likes of Engineering; Curious and ambitious, sometimes to a degree that leaves caution behind; Likes to run experiments sometimes even on herself if she can't find a test subject; has a slight touch of crazy due to previous self-experimentation.

Appearance: Bigger ears (like Dolly or Dee Dee), one of which is always hanging flat behind her head, it's black with a few faint waves of purple going over it. (it also doesn't respond anymore due to experimentation), Her forepaws are pretty much fully black, making her look like she wears gloves all the time and her facial spot patter features a black spot resembling the shape of safety googles with some extra splotches going from it looking like something exploded in her face.

I'll have to say I disagree.. mainly due to their interactions with 2 characters we know aren't related... Dylan and Dolly. Dawkins and Dylan don't strike me as siblings who'd really get along well together if not bound by blood. (As in rivalry, but mostly because Dawkins refers to Doug by his name, not calling him "Dad".. meaning, he's from Delilah's side...

Deepak may not as easily given away but I firmly believe he is on Doug's side.. mainly because if his relationship with Dolly.. Or more for Dolly acts towards him.. the very protective nature and understanding for his quirks (and literally being the ONLY one noticing what he does in the house..) she just gives me the "I protec my little bro" vibe.. even more so than she seems to act like it about most..
