Hi. Do you plan new makeovers? Pleasee do lots from stories.
Hi anon! Currently I'm not even playing TS2, let alone planning on makeovers, sorry!

while editing my new video it made me think a lot about the cute and creative bartering cc economy ts2 had back in the day with secret santa/the big tradeoff etc. I wish I could have participated in it back then! Makes me sad to think how that free/open creative energy is now funneled into patreons/early access etc. Obviously there were big pay creators and drama back in the day as well lol, but it really strikes you how different the internet was back then when you spend time poking around in the older forums. It makes sense that it has fallen away for ts2 fans as we grew into adulthood; you don't have nearly as much free time to make custom content and don't want the pressure of obligation to complete a trade. But I feel sad for the younger simmers that this kind of environment doesn't exist for them. Twenty years of the neoliberal foot on the profit-seeking gas pedal, and now making custom content is your brand, your side hustle. Collaborating with another simmer becomes a marketed event like BLOOBOO5 x CHERRYCHEESEY: THE BIGGEST DROP OF THE YEAR!!! tldr: old man yells at cloud lol. I'm obv out of the loop with ts4 as well, so maybe spaces like that still exist, I hope they do <3 just random thoughts that are normal and healthy to ruminate about on a beautiful saturday morning 🕺🏼 sjsdhjdshj
No, you're absolutely right. I get that in today's world and economy ppl try to find even smallest ways to make some money and it's easier to do so by doing something you enjoy at home. But at the same time monetizing your hobby is such a quick way to kill your joy for doing it, too. Especially when you end up acting like a celebrity releasing a new album when all you're dropping is a pair of pants for the sims.
Also the desperation to get even the smallest crumbs of revenue by using malicious link shorteners is what baffles me the most. I'm glad to see them used less these days, but just a few years ago it was impossible to find a piece of sims 4 cc that wouldn't go through this crap and drop like 10 ad tabs with malware at you.

has anyone ever experienced an issue where the cheat (modifyneighborhoodterrain on) is on but, when you click to drag your mouse nothing happens? I know it's on because the only areas that I can drag over are areas where there's lots (but it flashes red because can't modify with them there) but on areas of the world where it's empty, it's just not appearing/working but it used to work before?
Solution found (in the comments!), thanks to @jodeliejodelie <3 Thank you again :)
Thank you so much for confirming, I thought it was just me! Hopefully somebody with more skills will look into this, because I would love to be able to use the mod and the cheat ;.;
Moonstone Lake 🌲
Twenty years ago, it was a thriving town, nestled between hills touched by endless green. Its streets buzzed with life, and its close-knit community called it home. But as the years passed, bigger opportunities in the cities lured families away, leaving behind a dwindling population and a fading spirit.
Today, the town’s old lumber mill is its only remaining enterprise (if you could even call it that). Most of the remaining residents work there, while others commute to nearby towns. Despite its quiet decline, Moonstone Lake still holds its natural beauty — a shimmering lake cradled at the base of the mountain, attracting hikers and visitors looking for a peaceful afternoon away.
