A few beautiful Greek words that should certainly be used more than they are:

  • θρυαλλίδα (thryallida): the cause of a (usually disastrous) event
  • βαβυλωνία (babylonia); the situation where too many people talk over each other loudly, which results in confusion
  • διαπρύσιος (diaprysios): a person who declares something fervently, passionately
  • αμΡτροέπΡια (ametroepya): the lack of moderation in words
