Well, I stalled on the Star Princess costume when it got to the Stars. Currently it sits at 85% done. Which sucks because it’s been sitting on me mannequin for months at this point and I want it out of my work space.

After going over all the options I think I’ve decided that the 3D print stars are going to be my best bet.

Hopefully I’ll have some actual updates soon.

Different beading strategies in Star Princess bodices:

  • Hamburg: Silver, pearls, crystals, we’re gonna bling this place down!!!
  • West End: Beading is so much work, let’s glue on some shit
  • World Tour: Freshwater pearls, freshwater pearls, did we mention freshwater pearls? OK, ONE crystal, if you insist.
  • Broadway: YOU. CAN. NEVER. HAVE. TOO. MANY. BEADS.
