Can confirm, as someone who sees every meticulous step Sam takes in writing these chapters, to accuse her of stealing anything is outlandish and frankly just stupid. Why the hell would she need to steal someone else’s idea when she puts as much work into what she writes as she does.

I have been thoroughly convinced that you are inconsiderate morons that truly do not understand what it means to be kind and considerate. You preached about bullying and harassment, then pulled the most hypocritical move to harass, insult, and berate Sam for truly no reason.
She never wanted this drama, she purposefully tried NOT to address this bullshit because the only comments she ever made were about the harmful comments made about sexual assault, and the damage that an AI generated audio porn can cause.
You have blown this whole situation out of proportion for no reason, all we want to do is come onto this fucking website and write silly little fics. This was never meant to be a competition, we’re not ranking fics above one another, we simply want to write because it’s what we enjoy doing, and you have sucked the joy out of it, so I hope you’re happy.

Seems like you enjoyed it enough to remember reading it! Love that for you. However, context is important and it’s worth noting that the writer I’m defending wrote such (well warned) within the realm of a consensual and established relationship. On the other hand, the writer you’re defending, seems to like the shock value of writing borderline traumatic content. They do not, however, like the shock value of backlash when it doesn’t sit right with everyone.
I get that writers use warnings in their headers and “if you don’t like it, don’t read it” but there really are some things that are better off staying in the drafts, yeah?
What’s that line you guys like to say nowadays? Oh yeah!

And just to add to this. One of the main arguments that I saw regarding the drama WAS “please just add it to the warnings and we won’t mind it.” And the response was “THERE’S NO WARNINGS IN A LIBRARY!!!”
So for everyone to see, yes, Sam did put the appropriate warnings on her fic. Which nulls this whole ass argument (somnophilia)
Also thinks it’s worth adding the backlash didn’t stem specifically from what she had written in her fic, it came from a comment she made about someone losing bodily autonomy when they get into bed with someone, the fic was just a cherry on top of that.
Can all of these little apologists that Lucie has garnered just fuck off and grow up? This isn’t middle school, and it sure as hell ain’t debate club. Points were made about the things Lucie had said that weren’t agreed upon by a large majority of people, and instead of reflecting on it and moving past it, she victimized herself and criticized anyone that did not agree. No one drove her off of tumblr, we just got sick of watching her dig her own grave, she left of her own volition, she’s a grown ass adult and if having other grown ass adults disagree about how fucked up it is to say that someone loses the right to their own body if they get into bed with someone, or whether or not making AI audio porn is wrong (spoiler alert, it is), that is something she needs to work out for herself, it is no one else’s job to force her to change, we simply made points and watched her flounder for counterpoints.
