Hi, just had an urge to browse this and wanted to clear up a rumor. "Arathi Rapist" is innocent. The screenshot takes them out of context. By "sleep" she meant quite literally to sleep next to the person. The wording was really poor and easy to manipulate against them, but they're not guilty of what they're accused of. That's all! Hello everyone! My name is Cake, one of the coordinators of Tournament of Ages and would like to address some of the comments regarding our timeline and why we have decided to approach things this way.
Tournament of Ages is something that is planned six months in advance publicly, and something coordinators start working on the day after ToA finishes. Even if just small notes we scribble down, or ideas we throw at one another throughout the downtime months. Once January hits; however, we start really cracking down and really getting to work. We decide on charities, set up spreadsheets for prizes that vary from gold to actual physical items, assign staff to games and tournaments, the list goes on.
We love roleplay and hold it near and dear to our hearts. Nothing makes us happier in this game than knowing we could bring the server together and provide a week of entertainment and roleplay for everyone. But we can’t predict everything. When we began planning we did not even know what the prepatch was going to be like, we did not know when these things would begin happening. As much as we wish we could throw Tournament of Ages into its own special time bubble and avoid major plots that have already occurred, we have decided it is for the best we do not.
It would be far too difficult to control the entire server for this event, so we stick with canon time.
Burning of Teldrassil: We understand how hard this will be for the Night Elf community. Why would they want to show up is one of the major questions we get asked almost daily. But it is difficult to push this before the burning and expect the entire server to not acknowledge this. We want to remind people this is ICly run by Argents, a neutral faction. But we do have some ways for people to attend if they feel they do not know how.
1. Attend on a patriotic character by having them plan to give moral victory to their cause by beating the combatants from the other faction.
2. Attend on a character more aligned to peace or one of the neutral factions on Azeroth.
3. Attend OOC.
I understand this is not what everyone wants to see, but there is far too many logistics behind ToA to make such a last minute shift.
We have been asked why we choose to ignore the early release for those who preordered.
It would not be fair to exclude people who have not preordered, so we are choosing to keep with the lore we have been given and will not be counting it. We also do not want to release during expansion drop, obviously and want to keep ToA as the normal dates due to people, staff, and coordinators taking days off work to run and attend this. We are sorry for any confusion this may cause and hope you all still find ways to attend ToA if new reasons are needed.
I also would like to restate: Many Coordinators and Staff take time off work for this so we cannot change the IRL physical date to be sooner. We also have too many things listed and locked in date wise that regard charity.
We also would like to state that you do not have to follow our timeline. We as the coordinators and staff have set this time, but in the end it is your account and your character. If you want to show up and not acknowledge wars have happened yet, or previous server campaigns, you do not have to and we will not force you. But please understand that people may choose not to acknowledge you or that subject at least during roleplay.
I myself am just planning to not discuss the wars and such on my character when I attend unless the person speaking to me brings it up first. I just want to enjoy the hard work the community has put together to create various booths, games, and charity events.

The Tournament offers many fun events from Jousting to Dueling! Team sparring events to performances from several guilds!
What’s that you say? YOU WANNA BE THE ONE JOUSTING AND NOT SITTING IN THE STANDS YELLING?
That is an easy fix! You sign up HERE and you will get to join the full team of jousters! Other events include: Sparring, Dueling, Pet Battles, Foam Sword Battles, Carpball, Hearthstone, Racing and more!
There will also be tons of shopping available for those who may not be interested in watching physical sports. Booths will advertise themselves on the forums(HERE).
We are also doing a charity art auction, and could always use more artists! (HERE).
Our charity this year is Direct Relief (Website), our donation pot will go live during the tournament, we hope you will help us raise our goal of $1,000 for Direct Relief!

Some simple Reminders! This is a Moon Guard Event, While WrA and other servers are welcome to come and watch - there will be limited participation as cross server trading of gold is not a thing. We do not know anything about phasing yet - So be prepared to have someone on MG to bring you over. To participate in any of the Events, (Sparring, dueling, foam sword fights) You have to be on the Moon Guard Server. No other servers will be allowed to participate.
Only Role Players will be allowed to participate in any of the events. Non-Rpers may visit the area and watch the events but they will not be allowed to participate.
While BfA will be dropping DAYS after this event - Please attempt to keep the grounds neutral. We understand Horde and Alliance will be up in arms to fight, but the grounds are Argent territory and they are of Neutral faction. If you must fight (ICly) please remove yourselves from the Tournament Grounds.
Get your best outfits ready and be prepared to sign up for the Tournament’s Dating Auction!!

Additional notes:
-Prices are per character, but it can vary depending on the second one (if together). It they are a child, small animal, etc, we can discuss a cheaper price.
-Sketches are monochromatic and you can pic the color! I just normally sketch in pink
-With heavily detailed characters I might request a small additional fee or ask to simplify the design. So far though, I’ve yet to ask anyone for that.
-I don’t currently have a will not draw list, so if interested, just ask!

DICE ROLLER - Variable dice for World of Warcraft for your RP events!
Dice Roller is an dice rolling addon for raid chat for RP events. When it comes to doing DND events, Blizzard’s /roll mechanics just aren’t that great, especially when you want to do dice rolls like 2d6, 3d10, etc.; it can be a huge hassle to type out multiple /roll 6 or /roll 10. Additionally, it can be a huge hassle to get everyone in your guild to download a mandatory addon.
With this addon all you need is a raid group and a single person with the addon – no one else needs the addon but the DM. It works something like this:
In raid chat, type out !XdY+Z where:
X= number of dice
Y= dice value
Z= modifier (addition only currently)
The result will look something like this:
Be aware, however: if multiple people have the AddOn enabled while in the same raid group, multiple results will be given. This mod’s currently functionality is for ONLY one person in the raid to have it on.
The original author, who created this in 2009 for guild chat and some bare functionality, was SharQueDo and he was kind enough to allow me to take over the project after he abandoned it years ago and let me revamp everything. To this day, it retains about 20% of his original code.
